Almost all the hiss gone.
Removed most of the hissing, but not all and it did allow the amplifier to increase the volume tremendously. I just wish all the hiss was gone.

90 percent of bass in speaker does not get through this unit.
Unit does stop static but it does not allow lower frequencies such as bass thru. 12 inch base speakers thru amp lost 90 percent of the bass with installed. Returning. Useless.
