2pcs 0.5mm Carbon Sheet for Drag Washer (50×60)

This is excellent and easy upgrade for a Shimano Ultegra 2500HG. The size of the sheet is plenty enough to make 3 replacement washers x2. It's easy to size and cut. It does make the drag smoother and you can crank down on the drag and you can't crush the Carbon like you can a felt washer. On replacing the one's I had in the Ultegra, one (the bottom one) was all warped on one side. This likely happened when I got my line stuck on rocks and I tightened the drag to pull the snag out but eventually ended up breaking the line. If I didn't do this upgrade, I would have never known the felt washer was warped. I'm glad I did this upgrade.Tip/Installation: Simply take one of the metal washers out of your drag, position the metal washer on the sheet and match the hole with a drill bit to make a hole that goes through the sheet. Drill the (center) hole with your drill but but run the drill bit BACKWARDS or the sheet will spin.Cut the carbon around the metal washer with scissors on the outside of the metal drag washer. Sand the carbon around it to make it a perfect circle and it's best when you have all 3 together.Do it this 3 times and you are done. It takes less than 5 min to make 3 washers. Also do grease them on the top and bottom with a fair amount of reel grease as you should not run them dry.

Ordered .5mm and received 2 pieces of .86mm/.91mm. Used 3 calipers to verify diameter. Material fairly soft and flexible compared to other materials. I have not tested the cut washers as they are unusable (too thick) and it is causing binding in my reel.

I used these to change out the drag washers on a spinning reel these were easy to cut and trace and work well.

Very little product for the price.
