I purchased an iPod touch 6th generation case for my 5 year old son's iPod touch. He lost it. And by lost it, I mean he left it outside near the swingset face upwards in this case. We hadn't found it for 3 weeks. With the weather we've had here on Long Island, NY, it has snowed a couple of times and rained a lot. When I stumbled upon it outside, I thought the brand new iPod touch was a goner with all the crazy weather we've had recently. This was not the case! The iPod touch was still in perfect condition. The only thing that had any damage was this light blue case had a little bubble on the screen and the touch sensitivity was gone. For what we paid for the iPod Touch and this case, I instantly went back on Amazon and purchased the exact same case. If it could handle the weather we had over the past three weeks, this company will definitely get my money again and again when it comes to cases. I bought this for my daughter's 6th generation iPod touch. I put a tempered glass screen protector on the screen and then this case and it fits and looks awesome. It definitely makes this thin and very breakable little gem seem very substantial and I feel better about allowing her to take it with her to school and on the bus when she travels to games. The hard plastic snaps on the front and then the rubber/plastic part goes over the back and around the sides. All of the ports are accessible and it seems like it will be good at keeping dirt out. My Otterbox is stretchier and has 2 pieces that snap together and then the rubber backing goes on, but I like the way this one fits and the price is great. To put the front on you have to stick your fingernail under the edge and kind of pry it out as you slide the iPod in.

Edited at 5 months: The only downsides are the flaps that cover the headphone/ear bud jack and power cord plug in hole, and the relative difficulty in getting the case around the iPod and the two halves of the case together. Before putting it together, I used a razor blade to cut the two stiff flaps off. Otherwise, they would put pressure on, and bend, headphone cord and power cord. I've dropped my iPod many times at many angles since putting the case on, without damage. 5 months in, and many drops later, and still no damage to my ipod. Touchscreen still works exactly the same.

I purchased this for my new IPod Touch. I try to get a protective case for all my portable electronics; especially, to prevent accidental damage. I wanted something that would protect it from normal wear and tear , also. This case protects from drops, screen scratches,and water damage. It was easy to install,but not so easy to take off. This is great because that means the case will not come off if I drop my IPod Touch. I like that it has a built in screen saver so that I don't have to try and put any screen protection. A great case for a good price.

I like to protect my devices really well, given that they're subject to little kids. There wasn't an otterbox available for the iPod 6, so I needed to range out a little.So far, this seems to protect the iPods I got for myself and my children decently well. First of all, it looks cool! It comes in a few color options - I obtained two blacks and a blue for red, space gray and blue iPods, respectively. One really nice feature is the inclusion of a built-in screen protector. It's not gorilla glass, but it's good enough for most situations. The front bevel is fairly deep. This presented a small problem for trying to tap on things toward the edge of the screen, but we adjusted quickly. This bevel provides good protection against anything which isn't pointy, and point-ed directly at the screen.It's not waterproof, but it'll keep any reasonable amount of rain out. The cutout for the camera hasn't seemed to have interfered with normal operation. And the buttons are nicely responsive, without becoming either TOO sensitive or not sensitive enough, to where you have to smash it to get anything done. (I've found this to be a frequent problem with many cases. Sneezing around my Galaxy Tab 3 will back you out of whatever you're doing, because the buttons are now so hyper-sensitive. VERY annoying!)The inclusion of a belt clip gives this EXTRA value. I can clip my iPod onto the strap of my bag, or even onto my daughter's bed, in case they want to watch something, hands-free. Putting the iPod into the clip for travel means that it is solidly protected, all around, unless you get run over by a stampeding herd of elephants. (Or particularly militant Pokemon Go players)All in all, this is one of only a handful of cases which a paranoid (poor) guy like myself would recommend to anyone wanting to make sure that their iPod doesn't become a brick the first time anyone drops it. When a device costs $200 or more, it's very worth paying less than a tenth of that price, to make sure it'll last.)

The media could not be loaded. These cases are great. I got two for my kids IPod Touch 7th generation. They have already withstood a couple drops and the IPods and well as cases are good to go with no damage. Love the bright colors as well. The extra clip on holders are an added plus and they make a great stand so that they kids can watch movies without having to hold them. Perfect fit for our IPods.

I'd really like to give it a 4.5 only because the case doesn't stay on well with the tempered glass screen protector I put on it. I have the same case on my Galaxy S7. It's well protected only 2 parts and comes with a clip. There's a built in screen protector but it's just plastic. Even with that and the tempered glass the device is huge responsive. It has covers on the earphone Jack and the charging port. There are button covers that react well. But simply put I bought it twice for two different devices so it must be good.
