A bright, compact lantern, useful for camping
This is a really nice lantern but I really do not like anything electrical without any instructions in the package. I would hate to charge it or use it wrong and void a warranty or even worse, melt it or explode an internal battery. I like that fact that you have one of three power options for this. You can charge it before leaving home on typical household outlets. You can charge it using solar power by leaving it at your campsite or if you're backpacking you can attach it to your pack. Or if you are in a bind there is a spot to insert AA batteries for when the sun just isn't cooperating.The six LED lights give you a bright steady light. We use this at home on our back porch when extra light is needed at night to let the dogs out or check laundry when it's hanging. It also goes with us when camping and comes in handy when going to the bathrooms at night. As I said it's a nice lantern but the lack of instructions keeps it from getting a five star rating. This lantern was provided to me for evaluation and without any further obligation.
