Great toy for kids most ages, (mine are 12,9,4) the trick to flying seems to be quite a hard push off but keep it pointing straight and steady when you release, otherwise crash and burn.Its a bit difficult for the 4yr old to pump up but there's plenty of help about from local kids.Fragile wings I'm afraid got broken within the first couple of hours after a couple of bad landings which you have no control of, but it does reccomend flying over grass. Spare wings are included which help greatly.A bit of pva glue and sellotape seemed to repair it ok though.A bit more of a disaster happened when it flew into the branches of a very high tree, even though it was flown in the opposite direction, the wind caught it made it do a u turn and took it up 50' into the top branches where it still is now. :-(The motor is a marvel to see working as its air powered.All in all a good toy marred by fragile wings and lack of control.

In the era where kids are all fanatic about PS2 games, TV and in-house activities you will find this toy extremely successful in motivating the children to come outside.The children, aged 7 and 9, had tremendous fun and so did I, in the several essays we've had.The downside is the durability of the plane. Bearing in mind the destruction ability of 7/9 year old boys, one of the wings was broken on the first afternoon of flights. The good point is that the plane comes with spare components and there's also the possibility to glue when the spares are broken...It's good fun and a different distraction. The older is planning to start an airplane kit...

This is one of the best toys I have ever bought for my children. The first flight flew over our local Leisure centre but we soon put that right. It gies a very long way but we have set it to fly in circles You even get spare wings and tail. The best thing about it is that kids always benefit from assistance from their parents (not really) but it means you can have great fun too. Only problem is that it doesn't like any more than a very slight breeze.
