would this hold a gerber diesel multi tool

I'm not familiar with the gerber diesel multi tool, but it fits my Leatherman Wave so if you can compare the two you could tell. The Wave is 1 1/2"w x 3/4"d x 4"h. Also fits my mini-mag flashlight perfectly. I'm on my 3rd or 4th but I'm not saying this thing is wimpy. It's pretty darn tough and each one lasts several years before the corner starts to wear and the material gets "too loose". Hope this helps!

Will this fit a Leatherman Supertool 300?

Yes, I use mine to hold a Gerber multi tool which is similar to a Leatherman. I also store a small LED flashlight, Craftsman 4 in 1 screwdriver, Husky multibit precision torx driver and wire ties.

Will the back pocket hold an iPhone 6 inside a moderately thick case?

Yes. The phone will fit in the large back pocket near the clip. However, depending on the thickness of the case, it may limit the amount of other items the utility holster will hold.

I got a hex trio set from Walmart, will one of those fit in this pouch?
