Simply beautiful and easy and golden deliciousness.
Sheer Golden delight. Subtly Bold. Exactly what I needed, not knowing that’s exactly what I needed.

Love it! Easy to use.
I love the effect. I wanted a mottled effect and this does the job perfectly. I watched several how to videos before trying. It was extremely easy to use.

It makes a MESS but looks cool
The media could not be loaded. I have an Ibanez Jem and the pick guards are all the same. I wanted something unique and custom guards cost a fortune. So, I got this Variegated Gold Leaf and used it to cover / coat the plain white pick guard on my guitar. These sheets are SUPER thin and come apart very easy so you have to be gentle. There are plenty of sheets in one pack to do this, so much so, I did the truss rod cover, the tremolo cover and input cavity cover on the back. There are some tricks to it! You have to sand the pick guard and covers to scratch them (lightly) to give the leaf something to grip into and not slide around. Get the - Scotch 3M Super 77 Multi-Purpose Adhesive, 4.37-Ounce, Clear - spray it on conservatively, let it dry enough so when you touch it, it feels sticky. Lay the leaf sheets all over the pieces you are covering and then with a damp, smooth cloth GENTLY rub the leaf into the glue. If you rub the leaf to hard, it WILL tear. Let it dry for about 2 days until it does not feel mushy. Then, before you knock off the excess leaf, coat it with - Krylon K01303007 Acrylic Spray Paint Crystal Clear in 11-Ounce Aerosol - . Let that fry for a day. Then gently, with your index finger, simply rub the edges of the leaf that are hanging over the edges of the pieces you covered. This is not as easy as it sounds. A friend of mine tried it and tore the leaf after the glue dried, it was almost disastrous. We just started the whole process over again. Have fun and look for other colors of leaf, there are tons on here.

Awesome quality, does not look like the picture
I love the quality of this foil but it is much more brown and gold then gold and blues. Very little blue at all in it unlike the picture.

Beautiful results
I redid 2 bar stools, & they look amazing, visitors are wowed ! It takes patience & thorough prep work. Bar stools were metal, had some rust & were an intricate design, which made them a little time consuming. It took me about a month from start to finish, in my spare time. Patience well worth it ! I used same product for adhesive & sealer. It was not an inexpensive project, but I could never afford to buy these stools now, in a high end store. I’m artistic but not tech savvy ! Can’t figure out how to transfer picture from Androis to Mac.

Nice accent for art pieces
I use these for gourd art and they provide a beautiful accent. They are easy to use but you do have to work carefully because they are so thin, as they are meant to be.
