Seems to work great.
The media could not be loaded. I bought two styles of spot weld bits. This set and the other style with the spring loaded pin and a carbide bit that looks like a mini hole saw. Refer to the pic with the two styles. This style, hands down, is a superior bit. Just use a dab of cutting oil every handful of spot welds (probably every 10 to 15) just to help the bit last longer. You do need to apply a good amount of pressure when drilling the spot weld, but that was to be expected by the design of the bit.I'm going to be purchasing more of these bits so I have extras to finish my restoration project. I'm sure one bit will not last through the few hundred spot welds I need to drill. The value for the money is great, they are easy to use as seen in the video. Nice thing is you don't have to use a center punch, they work well either way. We will see about durability. I will make an update and add to this review when I feel the bit needs to be replaced.

Only lasted about 5 welds.
They only lasted about 5 spot welds in thin sheet metal before tip went bad. Would not buy again....

Good product
Out of the box this set worked great. Was able to remove several spot welds with ease. Unlike the type that has a pilot bit that drills thru both surfaces I was able to control the cutting and not penetrate thru the lower surface.

they were starting to dull quickly after the driver side
I used these to remove a 2000 ranger front core support. They did cut the spot welds, but even with lots of cutting lube, they were starting to dull quickly after the driver side. I ended up doing the passenger side with a fluted stepper bit and finished in half the time..

Worked well; go slowly
Worked to remove my spot welds. All too easy to drill through the second layer of metal so go slowly. Also get some cutting lubricant to extend the life of these drill bits. And don't forget the spot weld chisel; without that you're gonna have problems.
