Waterproof Arm Cast Cover

Awesome full arm waterproof protector. The gasket at the top I was super skeptical but it works like a charm 1 or 2 times a day. If you have a brace as I do now you will need assistance pulling the gasket open far enough to get it up your arm. Highly recommend. Would buy again

This is a well made product. I had thumb surgery For arthritis (Ligament reconstruction and tendon interposition - LRTI), so the initial dressing was quite large, covering most of the thumb in hand up through the mid lower arm, think Thanos. This worked well to cover the arm for showering. The product Uses heavy gage plastic and is easy to get on and off. Only one caveat: Bringing the upper arm too close to the body will create a small gap (Which will allow water into the cover). but being aware of this the issue is not overwhelming at all. I can highly recommend this product the.

Works extremely well

Took some getting used to, and probably would have been easier to put on if I had help, but I managed. Way better than a garbage bag and a rubber band. Kept my cast dry because the seal was tight. The only reason it was uncomfortable is because of having to wear a stupid cast in the first place.

Very good to have around the house. ... just in case you have to have a hand or arm surgery ... So that you can still take showers

Fit was perfect and there was NO water leakage. I fractured my wrist in 2 places so it was very hard for me to put it on myself but once I got it on, absolutely no issues! I used it for 2 weeks with a long arm cast them tried to use is when I got a short arm cast (so I didn’t have to buy the short arm one too). It worked ok but was just too long so I used a bread bag instead n put a waterproof hair tie on, all the way to my elbow and folded the end of the bag over the tie. Haven’t had any leaks with that method either. If you’re strapped for money, use a long umbrella bag for long arm cast (the kind of bag stores give out for free and those which customers use on rainy days). If money isn’t an issue, I’d highly recommend this product! It came super fast, it’s thick so it won’t puncture, and it doesn’t fog on the inside so no need to worry about the inside of your cast getting wet. After I shower, I wiped around the arm opening to be sure water didn’t leak into the cast, then I pulled the cover off from the hand side. It slid off easily. I also used baby wipes to wipe my fingers as it has moisturizer on the wipes. Don’t use anything else! Used a hand held portable fan to dry it after wiping fingers n palms. I’m looking forward to getting my cast off in a few days!

My husband had elbow surgery with a half cast and ace bandage around it. The sleeve worked great for the first 8 days then the seam separated between the thumb and first finger and water ran In and got the cast wet.
