Maybe as road shoes if you're using mtb pedals ... wouldn't take these on a trail
I bought these as a backup pair when my 20 year old spare pair finally gave up. The hard plastic "tread" on the bottom have 0 traction, In fact I've never had slick road shoes that are harder to walk in than these are even with the little rubber spikes attached. I can't imagine unclipping on the trail and trying to catch myself before falling into the rock; these would just slide off the rock like it was ice and probably hurt worse than just falling onto it.As a road shoe, you can stand on the toe rather than the bottom at a stop; and very carefully slide your way across the floor to get between the chair and the bike.

Sizing and fit was good. Price is ok but worth it.
I usually take a 44 and these fit ok. Have a wide foot but they fit well. All around good traction with a decent heel. I use them for road riding with spd cleats but I wanted a shoe that I could walk In easily. Not for cold weather but Planet Bike makes an awesome shoe cover that fit well. The look of them is snappy. The black looks like pattern leather and I like the red trim. Very comfy.

So far great value for the money fit well and the cleats adjust accurately
I have been riding road and mountain bikes since 1988. I started buying riding shoes with cleats in the early 90s. I used to spend $150-$300 a pair for road or mountain shoes without cleats. Most of those shoes lasted me an average of 10 to 15 years. This was the first time I’ve ever bought a pair of riding shoes less than $150.Right out of the bag these shoes fit great. They snuged down tight and the cleats adjusted correctly. They felt excellent. They looked excellent! So now the next part of the test will be to see what happens after I’ve ridden with them for a while. I’ll get back to you in 6 months. At this price point I would expect the shoes to look good fit well and last five years min. The reason the shoes should last at least five years is…. At this price point the quality of the shoe and the materials… under riding average conditions for an average rider really should be about five years otherwise you’re just buying shiny junk. $87 and some cents with tax is a good amount of money for anybody these days. Therefore a pair of shoes that are worn only well riding should last at least five years.

If you are just using for 'Bike riding' only these are great
With the pandemic in 2020 I couldnt find any shoes. The bontrager/Trek products were out of stock and at $300 being out of stock was what I needed to look elsewhere. I had tried a couple of other brands and I couldnt even get my feet in some products as my feet are probably wider than average though some brands do the extra wide fittings - but they cost you plenty!I then tried these - bright color so you can be spotted a bit more easily (in Yellow :-)..) and at $80 worth a tryThese fit and were comfortable - a little tight on one shoe but they have a tiny amount of give over time/when cycling so that feeling that your foot could go numb, does go away.. quicklyMy feet are 10.5 and I ordered 10.5... I would say the fitting size is spot on - On other brands I have to order the size biggerI was worried about the fixed in plastic tigtening device - I'd seen these on Bontrager and after a couple of months you have to replace them (at least you can as they can be seperated but on these you cant do that as they are sewn in), but on these after 1 year they are lasting so thats good.As a bike only shoe I prefer these to my Trek/Bontrage Carbons that were 4*+ more expensive/....The reason I give this 4 stars only are for 2 issues - the heel height is too low and there is very little traction from the plastic base if you are walking - if you are just getting off to walk 20 metres to get a drink, etc these are fine.. but anything more and forget it. In fact even putting these on and walking over to my bike you can feel the heel almost slipping out... but once on the bike these are greatWould I recommend absolutely - at this price I'll be buying another pair as a spare before the price ramps up and I have to go back to getting other way more expensive and inferior products

Good shoe for the price
I needed to replace my old bike shoes. I had two requirements: 1) must fit, and 2) must be able to use with 2 bolt cleats. These shoes support both requirements. The size 43 fit my US 9.5 feet just fine and I had no issues installing my cleats. They are not super comfortable ... but I really don't expect them to be ... they are for riding, not walking. I like the security of buckle. I would score them higher, but the buckle is not made to be super tight ... which is unfortunate, but not a show stopper. I can't say anything about durability, yet, but I will update this review after I have used them for a few months. For now, I will say that they are a good shoe for the price.

Just OK
I’ve only had these a few days, so I will update my review after a couple of months. I purchased the fluorescent yellow/green shoes. The color is great and they look good on my feet. However, the material reminds me of a little girls costume dress shoe, if that makes any sense. So, I don’t know how long they will last or how durable they will be. I also noticed that the ratchet on my left shoe doesn’t crank very well and I have to push it a bit to get it to tighten. Now, with the sizing: I traditionally wear an 8.5 to a 9.5 size, but the European sizing is always a bit off. I purchased a size 42 originally, but they were too snug. I then exchanged for a size 43, and I can tell they are more of a size 10 because they’re just a bit loose, and I don’t see that they offer a size 9.5. It just jumps from size 9.0 to 10.0. Hope this helps anyone out there.

Went down 1/2 size
Great feel. Very comfortable. Lots of feedback from bike. Was slightly too large. Wear 11 athletic shoe and 10.5 dress shoe. Ordered 11 and it was too loose. Loose enough to slide off with force. Also the buckle was cinched down as tight as it could go. Ordered 10.5 and they fit much better, though a little on the tight side. Right in the middle of size, but I also have slightly wider feet but not enough for wide width. I’d personally go down 1/2 size because I do not want shoes to slip while riding. Using for indoor cycling so a lot of focus with push/pull. I could feel feet moving inside shoe with size 11.

Dissapointing
The ratchets slip very easily, making tightening a 2 hand effort. The tongue is an extremely cheap, thin, flimsy piece of shiny plastic, and guessing it will wear out fast. The rest of the shoe is acceptable quality. I should have spent $50 more and got something better.

Right show ratchet slips when tighting
Not as comfortable as a brand name. They feel more like plastic than I was expecting. Right shoe ratchet slips when tighting it. I think, it would be better to buy them in a store. Sadly, not much choices on the shelves!I do spin classes 4 times a week, plus road when I can.

Missing parts
Shoes didn’t come with any clips for my spin bike petels, you order spin bike shoes and no attachments? Waste of money
