this is a great set of two sturdy clear point number two mechanical pencils. Excellent quality and they are made by paper mate. There are two erasers, two pencils and one set of lead for the number two pencil smudge resistant and work well for young children very versatile, and it writes smooth. Refills are readily available. Great product. I bought this for my 11 year-old granddaughter and she loves the pencils. Definitely recommended.

Pretty straightforward product here. I love these mechanical pencils in particular because I'd tried to just purchase some cheap ones at Target a few months ago. I bought 12 for $.97 which I thought was an unbeatable bargain. However, the phrase you get what you pay for could not have been more true. The lead broke every time I went to jot down notes and the erases were flakey and left residue not to mention eraser crumbs got everywhere. With thee pencils you can be certain the lead is sturdy and therefore lasts much longer than cheap alternatives and the overall functionality is quality. The adjustable eraser means you won't run out of eraser or risky the entire thing breaking off. Whats more, theres an additional packet of lead and should you run out of eraser before lead you can easily purchase refills at a cheap price. These pencils are made to last and that cuts down on waste. Although the colors are random I received 1 cute purple pencil and 1 pink one which is lovely because purple is my favorite color. The look of the pencils and the colors are vibrant and I will take any small perk when I'm frantically jotting down notes in my graduate statistics course. It is a welcome relief to the cheap off brand I purchased earlier this year that would break off at the worst time which inevitably made me miss key points during class. Who would have thought having a reliable pencil could make such a difference? I sure wouldn't have before but this quality product has definitely made me a loyal customer. I will be purchasing them again when the time comes.

I got these Paper Mate Clearpoint mechanical pencils for school, mainly for taking notes and doing multiple choice tests, and they’ve been great so far. The 0.7mm lead writes smoothly and clearly, and I haven't had any issues with it snapping during long test sessions. I really like the side click to advance the lead since it’s quicker and less distracting than clicking from the top. The grip is comfortable during long lectures, and the erasers are big enough to actually use without running out right away. Plus, the extra lead and erasers included are super handy. Funny side note: one of my classmates accidentally took mine thinking it was his because we had the exact same pencil in the same color. We both stared at it like it was the Spider Man meme. I might need to put a label on mine now. Only minor complaint is that the eraser sometimes twists back down when you're using it, but it’s easy to readjust. No big deal. Overall, solid pencils for anyone in school or taking lots of notes and tests. Definitely recommend for students.

I’ve gone through dozens of mechanical pencils, but these stand out. The grip is cushioned and comfortable for long writing sessions.
