Accurate & Functional
I've always used Honeywell and their "round" thermostat for heat only has a battery in it and if that battery - which both 2- I ordered prior to receiving the Mr. Heater, were both dead and did not work. My DO NOT FREEZE items all froze!I highly recommend this product and no longer will purchase HONEYWELL off AMAZON.

Poor thermostat
Is the worst thermostat I ever owned. It has a wide deadband. It's wildly inaccurate. If he set it at 45 f will bring the temperature to 55 f. Then it lets the temperature drop to below 50 and then finally the heater comes back on. Do yourself a favor and a spend $10 more and get a decent thermostat. I'll replace this one with a Honeywell which seems to work just fine.

Works great with the Mr Heat 50,000 btu over head unit in my 20x50 garage/ man cave. Easy to install.

Temp setting lever is flexible.
Good for the price. The only thing negative is the temperature setting lever. It’s flexible. So you have to go past the temperature you want to set, and then it’ll spring back to your temperature setting. Makes it inaccurate and hard to set precisely. Make it a a steel stamped lever or something. Functions fine. I’ve had it for several years.
