I think I need to write this for everyone who, like myself, was unsure what they were getting into trying sulfur 8 for the first time. First of all, the name of the product and its gaudy color scheme were powerful turn-offs. If it weren't for outstanding product reviews, I would never have taken the leap. But I am here to tell you that as a former better braids user for 20 years, this product does everything my favorite did. It clears out my dandruff, moisturizes my dry hair and scalp, and leaves it feeling like silk.... But before I was going to allow it to touch my hair, I'm embarrassed to admit I opened the bottle and braced myself for it's (almost certainly) "unique odor". Imagine my surprise: this stuff smells like bubbles and baby unicorns! LOLCongratulations sulfur8 manufacturers, you just earned a loyal customer - won't settle for less ✌🏿PS WHILE I DO UNDERSTAND THE DISTINCTIVE COLOR SCHEME MAKES IT IMMEDIATELY IDENTIFIABLE ON SHELVES TO LOYAL CUSTOMERS, THE HUMAN EYE IS ABLE TO DETECT ITS TARGET AT A HIGHER COMPLEXITY THAN 2D YELLOW VERSUS RED. FIX YO DAMB BOTTLE 😂

I grew up using Sulfur 8 products...As I got older I discontinued using it because of the very pungent scent it USED to have...Thanks to my husband's "Beard Journey, I have been reintroduced to this product line; and,. it has done wonders for my hair health,...With wearing protective styles quite often, this product is not greasy, does not smell, replenishes lost moisture after "wash days", allows replenishing moisture to reach those hard to get to areas when wearing a "protective style" without causing Build-UP of product... After adding this product I find I use less of the other moisture replenishing ones I use. This seems to strengthen my locks, my hair feels softer and looks healthier. Just what my hair regimen needed.

Thank God for this spray! I was sooooo close to snatching every braid from my head. My scalp was on fire, and I noticed dandruff. It’s odd because I have not had dandruff in many, many years until my latest installment of braids.This did not work immediately but after about 5 days of daily use (at least twice per day), I felt total relief. I have not used it much in about a week because my scalp is much more calm.I advise anyone getting braids to get this just to be on the safe side. Again, I do not typically suffer from dandruff and I stick to a moisturizing regimen, but I wish I would have used this from day one. I managed to loosen some of my braids from scratching and I’m sure my braids would be in better shape had I began using this for a few days after getting them in.

I use this on my braids under my wig. It definitely helps with the dryness and itching. The smells is great. I add oil after using the braid spray and the new growth is about an inch long. Had the braids in for 2 months. I’ll see the real new growth once I take them out.

It really works! I have dandruff and it will normally start to build up within a week n a half. I’ve had my braids in for 3 weeks now and NO DANDRUFF! I’m so glad I found this product

I did my research and this kept coming up as the number one spray to help itching from braids.And I say it definitely lives up to the hype.The only slight drawback is it doesn’t smell good to me it’s a slight medicated smell.Not overpowering but I have a really good sense of smell.It will stop you from patting your head tho lol

So I have used the Sulfur 8 product that's petroleum jelly based. That has sulfur. Sulfur is effective at preventing and killing fungal and yeast growths. I was looking for something lighter. This product does not list the active ingredient on this item page (as of 1/16/2021) so if you haven't used this before or seen it anywhere else, maybe you'd think it has sulfur. No, the active ingredient is salicylic acid.

Works!!! I had purchased this because I had braids put in by someone and the hair used had my scalp feeling super itchy non stop to the point I was ready to cut every braid out and including my scalp,lol. I never had this issue before so I googled home remedies to use and Sulfur 8 as well as Raw apple cider vinegar diluted with water WORKED LIKE HEAVEN. I even bought the grease form of Sulfur 8 loved it as well.
