Didn't work on my septic system but the company stood behind their product.
I used it as directed and no improvement. I requested a refund and the company promptly refunded my money. Even though it didn't work for me you can buy with confidence as the company stands behind their products.

No stinky in the tank....
I'm always looking for something better when it comes to treating our black water tank, we live in an RV full time. Some brands work better, some are total crap....pun intended, lol. Needless to say, dump day is the day of truth and the "clumps of shame" don't lie, lol. So, big difference between your stick-built home's septic and my blackwater tank is materials it's made of and size, that's it. Since this bottle is meant for a 1,000 gallon tank or less in one shot and my little puny tank is only 50 gallons and is made of plastic with valves and rubber seals, as you might imagine there is math involved to downsize the dose and dilute appropriately. The concepts of both types of systems are very similar if not the same in many ways. I prefer to deal with my tank with bio methods instead of caustic chemicals. There are only two factors that tell me if something works well or not.....clumps of TP and stench. Oh the stench of it all, lol.....there isn't any now (obviously the last brand I tried didn't work so well in that department), and this came just in time as I needed to dump and flush again but didn't have any "juice" left to treat the tank afterwards. This stuff seems to work well at my chosen dosage and dilution (no clumps of shame"), which is a really good deal for me....a jug this size will last me longer than a month, for sure.

Monthly, single use treatment
I grabbed this treatment because it seemed like it was going to be a multi-use solution. The provided product description on this site states to use 1/4 cup weekly. When I received the treatment, the instructions on the bottle said something entirely different which indicates this product is actually only single use. The instructions on the bottle state to pour the entire bottle into your toilet of choice and flush it all away. It also suggests to reapply monthly. This is not what I thought I was getting and the product description should probably be changed to reflect that. Even so, it is not too expensive of a monthly treatment to ensure good septic tank health.

Once a month septic treatment
We have a septic system in our home that we have lived in for 25 years. There are only two of us, so we don't put the same kind of strain on the system the last family of five that lived here did, but aside from pumping out the tank on one occasion, we don't do anything routine to the system. It has worked for us without fail, and I guess that makes us lucky. I know people who have had to replace theirs and the cost can be upward of ten thousand dollars. I have been reading about septic tank treatments that will make your septic system run better, and even though we aren't having any problems with ours, I thought it might be a good idea to start treating it.This product from Instant Power is a once a month septic system maintenance treatment that basically uses beneficial enzymes to break down grease, soap, waste material, and starches that can coat and clog your pipes. While we know what we aren't supposed to put down the drain, sometimes small amounts of things like oils and grease end up there anyway. Those small amounts, while not awful by themselves, can add up over the years and create a big problem later on. Routine use of a product like this one can help break down those materials before they become a clog that will cost you a lot of money to fix. For less than $13.00 a treatment, this product is like putting money in the bank.

Single Use
This is a big bottle for a single use product. The marketing states that it unclogs drains but the bottle does not state that. I like that it's made in the USA and the label states that it is Eco friendly. We have maintained our septic tank so it's not clear if this product is actively working. If this product would have unclogged drains and provided multiple treatments, it would have justified the price for me.

Helps to Keep Septic Systems Trouble-Free!
We have lived in our house for forty years. One half of the house is over 200 years old and the other half is 80 years old. The house has two septic systems, one for the older side of the house, and one for the "newer" 80 year old side. The septic system on one side is the original 80 year old septic system, and the septic system on the other side is even older that that.We have the tanks pumped out every few years, and have had some maintenance work done on the oldest side. We also swear by septic system treatments to keep the old septic systems clog free and functioning as well as possible. This enzymatic once-a-month treatment has absolutely no smell. The bottle is large enough to treat one one-thousand gallon tank or two five hundred gallon tanks like ours.Preventative maintenance is less costly than replacement, and it's reassuring to know that we're doing everything we can to keep our old septic systems as clean and trouble free as possible!

Liquid of hope
This septic treatment has enzymes to help break down solids and sludge that may accumulate in your septic tank. I haven't needed to pump my tank yet, but I'll have to trust the claims of such a product. The product is in a liquid form so that it is easy to pour down a drain and get it introduced to your septic system. Since it is a liquid, I put it into the dispenser on my garbage disposal. Everytime I turn on my disposal, the liquid easily pumps out enough product to add a boost to my septic system. Regardless of how it is dispensed, as long as you can pour the recommended amount down your drain, you will be treating the septic system. Any help you can give to the breakdown of solid wastes in your septic tank helps in the long term. This just may be the additive to help keep your septic system running smoothly.
