I was able to carry 16 ft of trim pieces to the job site without using my trailer. This is a winner in my book. It looks sturdy and it feels sturdy. Amazing for the price.

In the pictures I have it installed on a 2015 Toyota Tundra, Double Cab with a 6.5-foot bed. The distance from the front of the bed to the support is 137.5 inches, or a half an inch short of 11.5 feet.It is definitely sturdy, and it is very easy to assemble and install. I think it is well worth the money and I would certainly buy it again.I gave it 4 stars because the packaging could be improved. It showed up with some chipped paint and a gouge that I had to pound out so that the tubes would slide together. No big deal. It is not for show after all.

Loved this bed extender! This was my easiest trip to the lake w the kayak and paddle board. The adjustable settings made it perfect for bed height support almost 5ft from my hitch.

I wanted to wait to use this before writing a review. I used this to support my kayak I was taking on a family trip. I have a jeep gladiator with a 5' bed and a 13' kayak. The length when installed was great.. but when I reached my destination the whole unit was twisted to 1 side and where the large pieces meet exposed 2 bars that must have broken welds. This thing was barely holding up 50lbs if that. Very disappointing.

I had some 16 foot metal roofing I needed to haul. They wanted to charge me $125 to deliver it, so I spent half that on a new toy. Worked great.

Not a tight fit, so it is a bit wobbly. Should be okay with load and straps to tie downs.

I bought this to help carry a 14.5 foot canoe in the back of my truck. I added some dollar store pool noodles for padding and it works great!
