Juice: Recipes for Juicing, Cleansing, and Living Well Hardcover – July 22, 2014

I don’t buy into the cleanses but the information is there if you need it. The recipes will taste like the juices you get from the Pressed store. The green juices are the most accurate. Pressed is reformulating their Roots recipes so I was disappointed that the Roots 1 juice I made tasted nothing like the juice from the store. The juices from the store also have more sugar because of all the fruit and they’re less fresh so I prefer following the book instead.Regardless of your plans for juicing, you still probably have to watch the sugar in this book. Their recipes often call for one or more apples and oranges which is why their juice tastes great. But you can easily just use half of each fruit and still have great juice.Their base is mainly romaine lettuce and cucumber which you can easily find in most grocery stores which is great.Like others said this book makes juicing accessible and I think the juice and elixir recipes will be great for long term health. I juice a few times a week. Drink and clean immediately. And use an old (10yr) slow masticating omega juicer. Takes me less time to juice than make a salad. I love it. Most noticeable benefit is probably glowing skin, more energy, and less cravings.Newer readers I would suggest cross checking their website menu and the book for any juices you’ve tried and want to recreate because the book’s recipe may be a different number or outdated.For those who would like to jump start their cleanse, Costco online does sell Pressed Juice bundles as well!

I just purchased my breville juice fountain crush and a juice cleanse online (JusbyJulie) and really liked all the positive feedback for the pressed juicery and on the website I saw this book and what luck! Its not only recipes which there are plenty and all of the recipes they say they use as well as many more great variations. It's also a book perfect for the coffee table, life lessons and stories the authors share to help you with your journey to a healthier lifestyle. Great simple clean book! It's great to open to a recipe bring it with and create it without internet searching tii!

Excellent for getting started with juicing and a healthier lifestyle. It's not just recipes... I love how it simplifies a few meal plans to get the reader started on their journey. Great tips and facts as well!!

This is a great book! It breaks down the benefits of juicing and how to do it, as well as had lots of super awesome and delicious recipes. I checked it out at the library then ended up buying it because I liked it so much!

Kindled this book so I'd always have the recipes with me. Been juicing almost every morning for 4 weeks. Now I look forward to my juice each morning. It's such a great start to the day. And so many recipes. We keep repeating the first ten. Just because they seem more wintery to me. Come spring we'll be moving forward in the book for lighter juices just my take on it.

I'm not a big believer in cleansing. If your liver and kidneys are healthy, they do most of the cleansing for you. I have issues with some FODMAP foods, so not every diet will work for me. The book is interesting, anyway. Some juice recipes are suitable and I have a water infusion pitcher that could be useful. I will incorporate some juices in my routine, especially on fasting days.

I have several juice books but this one has become my 'go to' for the ease of usage, great explanations and information. The section on elixirs has changed my life, no exaggeration. Also if you want to do your own cleanse they lay out several options nicely. The only thing, made the veggie soup, don't know what happened but it was the nastiest stuff ever, but still a great and helpful book

So many good recipes and plans. Definitely recommend if you're into juicing or want to try a cleanse. I know that regular juice regiments from pre-made places are so expensive. For the price of this book, you can also get a top notch juicer and still have spent less many than going to one of these juice bars.Great recipes.

Great tasting recipes divided into chapters (Greens, Roots, Citrus, Cleansing, etc.) for immediate reference.The numbered column-style layout is easy to work with leaving plenty of space beneath each recipe for one's own substitutions.Instructions are straight forward with hints, tips and reasons for why specific ingredients have been chosen.The text is very informative yet easy-going and upbeat, never pontificating.The authors branch out to include making nut milks and provide smoothie recipes in a clever block-style mix 'n match pattern.I love working with this book (definitely get the hardcover) and feel motivated by just looking at the gorgeous photos.Thank you very much!

Got he recommendation from Foodmatters.tv. There are so many recipes and I have tried about a third so far. Invaluable advice and fantastic recipes! Would highly recommend it!
