Very concise introduction to hearaldic symbology. Go re-watch all those jousting movies.

The book is very interesting for wargaming background. There are fewer color plates than I had expected but it is still a wonderful purchase.

Got this for my husband. The one that he had got destroyed when the backpack it was in got burned up in a car fire.

For my son he picked it out and loves it

This is a nice look back at an interesting time!

Not bad, a quick historical look at Medieval Heraldry.

the armor and heraldry displayed in this book is great. i enjoy the history as well; comprising different times and places and citing specific individuals of historic value and thier heraldry showing trends in artwork over the centuries.

Un livre essentiel dans notre bibliothèque, surtout si nous nous intéressons au Moyen Age. Le livre, qui accompagne 8 mains de Maître Crochet précieux qui laissent personne indifférent. Un livre très fortement recommandé. Un régal à ne pas manquer.

Amazing book from Osprey but EXTREMELY SLOW SHIPPING The product arrived in great condition and like most Osprey books of the series, they're really great, full of fantastic illustrations and great informations, but the shipping was SLOW and that is a euphemism. It took nearly 3 weeks before i got a notice saying the infos had been transmitted to the carrier and the parcel actually handed over, then since the books come from the UK it took an additional week for shipping and customs before delivery. The product is 5 stars The shipping is 1 Star

Excellent little tome on a fascinating aspect of medieval history..Some very nice illustrations too!
