I watched Avatar as it aired live on Nick from 2005 to 2008. When it came to Netflix in 2020, I watched the series and The Legend of Korra again. And later in 2020, I got the 10th-anniversary blu-ray steelbook collection. And even later, I got myself this book. This book was a surprise and took me back to the series that I just watched. It features a lot of throwbacks to the series and made me smile with every page I turned. It has a ton of poster collectibles that are STRAIGHT from the series. It even features sneak-peaks to the future and little blurps from after the show ended, which was a great surprise. At 29.99 (plus tax), this was a great buy and it being hardcover only was a great choice to last long. If you're an Avatar fan. You'd be a FOOL not to get this book. It's a great read and will make the hardest of hardcore fans look twice. Review: It is what it says it is. - I don't really understand the negative reviews. The description just above tells that this book is Aang telling about his adventures with his friends and (gasp!) those adventures we already know because we watched the show. I actually really liked this book, because I loved the little "mementos" it came with. As someone who watched the show and is a huge fan, having physical things from the world of Avatar is awesome. There are silly things included, like a poster advertising The Ember Island Players telling of "The Boy In The Iceberg" (which was a great episode by the way). And there are neat things included like Katara's water scroll (not an actual scroll but a flat image of the water bending techniques that were on it). While I would say that the price tag of ~$25 is a bit much, I did only pay $12 thanks to desertcart's lowest price guarantee on preorders so I think it was well worth it. So in summation, the book is nothing new about the world but the neat posters and other little keepsakes of Aang's is almost heartwarming. If you like Avatar a lot and think physical items from the world would be neat to have, then I'd recommend the book. If you're hoping for something more like new information, this book doesn't really include that so this book probably isn't for you. If you're really concerned about how art quality isn't up to your standards, then you're probably one of those people who also thinks Pokémon get way less creative as the generations go on (because Magnemite is totally unique). --P.S. that is a joke.

Fun!
This is a fun book and a nice addition to the Avatar: the last Airbender books. The book provides background information and context on people, places and things in the TV series that helps the reader further understand the Avatar world Aang lived in.

Wonderful book for Avatar fans!
Wonderful book for all fans of Avatar! As some others have said the art in some of it looks really... off. Like it was poorly traced. Then it clashes with the art from the artbook that looks very finished and polished. I don't know if the art was intended that way or not, but it was a bit disappointing to see, especially when the Legacy of the Fire Nation book's art outdoes this ones by a long shot. But still, I greatly enjoyed it and the little inserts added into it. I also assumed I was getting it in paperback like it says, but was very surprised to have it arrive in hardback! Definitely recommend it for any Avatar fan!

My 8-yr-old LOVES this book
We have been struggling to find reading material that my daughter is excited about enough that she reads without us reading to her and without us making it a chore for her to do. She is a big avatar fan, and quickly began devouring this book, eager to expand her knowledge of the avatar universe. She was especially excited about finding the waterbending scroll.

Aangs Legacy
I really enjoyed this book. You won't learn anything new about the Avatar world, but you will get really neat little items that Aang collected along the way. Like two post cards, one from Ba Sing Se and one from the Fire Nation. You'll get a wanted poster for the Avatar, though one from Toph would have been kwl. The Waterbending scroll is pretty neat too. In all, I like the book and was worth the $12 I paid for it. The one con I have is that some of the animation (art work) for some of the characters like Toph and Aang... well, when you look at them you know who their suppose to be but, they look nothing like them. I'm not sure why they didn't keep there true looks.

ATLA Fan here
As a atla fan this was so amazing to read. I knocked it out in about less than an hour but it was so Intresting. The details were amazing and honestly if I could read it for the first time again I would. So many extras that come with it and I honestly love it so much

My kid really enjoyed this book. The many short snippets of triva are great. Loved how the book is structured as a letter to tenzin from Team Avatar.

Ürün yurt dışından gelmesine rağmen 1 hafta gibi kısa bir sürede tarafıma teslim edildi. Hiçbir eksik ya da hasar yoktu. Avatar The Last Airbender hayranlarının mutlaka almasını tavsiye ederim.
