Corningware 20-oz Pop-ins Mug Set Includes 2 Mugs with Vented Plastic Lids (Pool Blue & Blueberry)

When winter comes and the weather is cold, I am a fanatic for soup. These are the right size, and the plastic lid works great. I work from home now, but when I did have to go to the office, these were a great way to take soup without worrying about spills and the vented lid meant I could put in the microwave and not worry about splatter. I do not know about you, but I hate cleaning up soup splatter in the microwave. I have owned these for about a year and have one that I have owned for over 5 years. The lid still fits perfectly, even washing them in the dishwasher over and over. It truly will fit an entire large can of soup in it.

I take these to work all the time with soup for lunch. They are perfect and last for years.

We have an old one of these and always wanted more of them so my wife wouldn't complain that I used it before she could. Great to transport your soup or other liquid type for lunch. Heats your food well and easy to hold hot foods.

I received a Corningware 20oz mug for a gift several years ago and love it so much for it's size and durability that I've started giving these mugs as gifts, especially now as graduation gifts. They are perfect for a single can of soup, microwave Mac-and-cheese, and more. I've ordered from Corningware direct, here at Amazon, and recently found the mugs for a better price at a local farm supply store. The mugs are heavy and feel well-made. The only complaint I have is the plastic cover. With the pair of mugs ordered here, one cover fit pretty well, one cover fit not as well. They require some manipulation to grip the rim of the mug. As a result, anytime I use the mugs with a cover, I just sit the cover on top with the air vent cover popped open and turned slightly to the side. This is usually sufficient when food prep calls for covering the container, otherwise I uses a no-splatter cover that I purchased somewhere awhile ago. The mug itself is what I truly like.

We love the soup cups. So much so that my son ordered them for his home also. I see nothing negative We had the plastic cups before which discolored and really looked unappetizing after a certain time. I recommend these cups, they are worth the money. If you don't drop them, they will last for many years.
