I clamped item to handle of my golf cart but the bolts provided were too short to fit I purchased to larger bolts and they fit but when tightened the item kept spinning forward and back with the weight of umbrella. It could not be locked upright. at one point during first use, the umbella bounced downward and the base holding the cup cracked all the way though rendering the item useless. It should be noted I even cut out a section of my golf cart rubber handle cover to accommodate the clamp but it still would not stay in place. the clamp needs to be made of metal and have some kind of gripping system or lock pin beneath to hold the bracket in place. this is a piece of junk.

Very inexpensive product. Design is marginal at best. The umbrella is lightweight but the product bends very easily at the connection point so it feels unstable and forces you to want to stabilize it with your hand as you walk, which kinda defeats its own purpose. I’m going to keep using it, but not very happy with the product.

It doesn't stay upright on the handlebars. The mechanism doesn't tighten enough or stay tight to hold up the umbrella. There should be a rubber lining to grip the handlebars and locking washers to keep it tight. When I put my umbrella in it, I still have to hold it to keep it from tipping forward and crashing my umbrella into the ground. The only purpose it serves is to allow the handlebars to support some of the umbrella's weight so that it is not as heavy for me.

This will not fasten to a round surface. It will only work if your golf card had flat or rectangular surface you plan to install this on. Most pull/push golf carts have round handles. So this is pretty much worthless. I had to return it.

Universal if you have a straight bar or surface to attach it to, not a rounded surface like most golf carts have... should have included round inserts. After finagling it onto the handle of the golf cart, it didnt stand a chance. Waste of time and money

I had a miserable day keeping my umbrella from falling over. The screws are too short to mount properly. The contact plate is to narrow to grip the cart properly. I returned it.

Easy too install, but wouldn't stay upright with the umbrella even tighten as much and at different areas of the handle bar. Might need to return or see if would stay with a drill hole to secure screw and nut.

I have tried putting duct tape and rubber to prevent slipping and tightening the wing nuts with pliers, and nothing will keep my umbrella upright on my cart.

The item is the embodiment of simplicity. its straightforward bracket makes it suitable for almost all trollies. thus saving you paying way over the odds for one specially branded and solf for your make of trolley

this item is ideal for the job

It's OK whilst my trolley isn't moving. As soon as you walk off the bracket just moves ( spins around the handle ).I have screwed this on pretty tightly too as it's left marks on the handle. No suitable for my trolley.

Just awful. Didn't hold the umbrella up at all. I tightened everything as tight as it would go, but it just span around and the umbrella ended up on the floor. It wasn't windy, the holder is just rubbish.

I found it tricky to assemble, the clamp is quite flimsy (but what do you expect for the price?)I tried to use it with an umbrella as a sun shade and the umbrella immediately swung over 90 degrees, so that didnt work. When I got home I again tightened the nuts and havent yet tried to/needed to use it again yet.
