Great addition to my shave kit.
I did not order this stand as a set with my shaving brush, I ordered both separately. When they arrived I found that my new brush was too small/narrow for this stand and would not hang as I had seen in some pix of set combos. However, I easily remedied this by cutting 2 short lengths of silicone rubber tubing and sliding them over the frame that os made to hang your brush on the stand. Now my brush hangs like it should have normally had I bought a stand and brush combo thatvwere made for each other. Other than this one small inconsequential issue, the stand is very sturdy, strong, durable and has enough heft to it that it holds my brush and razor like its supposed to without tipping over.I recommend this stand if you're looking to buy one, but if you dont have the silicone tubing to use as a spacer, I suggest buying a brush and stand combo instead.

Simple design that works
I like functional design, and this is it.

Works and cool design.
This stand looks great and is a unique design compared to other stands. It works but has a couple of weakness's. I own a Vanderhagen safety razor and a Parker badger brush. The razor fits perfectly but I'm afraid another razor with a thicker handle won't fit at the base for example a Merkur 34c. The brush fits well except if there are vibrations or movements it slides off and sits sideways. I guess if I had a neighbor that played loud rap music at high volumes my brush would move. I still like it and it works and looks cool. In the pics the Razors are the Vanderhagen/Weishi and the Edwin Jagger De89 they both fit perfectly but razors with thicker handles may not work.

Would not buy again
I have already quite using this brush stand and if I can't figure out a good use for it I will toss it. It tips too easily when removing the razor or the brush. The only time it didn't was when I nailed it down. It is only good for one razor and one brush so I quickly outgrew it and the last thing I'd want is to have to deal with a bunch of these. It is very strong and the plating would likely last a goodly time but its design leaves something to be desired in the way of utility, and it dosen't even look good. My brush didn't fit it well and I ended up adding soft clear tubing to the arms to take up the slack but that made it hard to take the brush in and out without the stand tipping over. Since I now have multiple razors I have gone to using a small 6 hole test tube stand to hold them. I use the simple acrylic brush stand to hold my brushes.

Gets the job done
Seems good for the price, just I dont think all brushes and razors might fit

Too big to hold brush
The other reviews you read are correct: This brush holder is too big to hold brushes. My brush fell through the holder. I bent the holder to make the circle smaller and it now holds my brush. This is trickier than you'd think.Hopefully you are a clever DIY'er. If not, stay away from this product.

Too big
The item itself is good quality but too large to hold the brush.

This is Perfect
This brush and razor holder is really quite good. The holder on the back is big enough for the handle of my Harry's razor to get through, although a thicker razor like some Gillettes might have trouble. Design allows by brush and razor to dry completely. Quality is very good -- the finish is a nice chrome and there are no burrs or rough edges, as some other reviews have mentioned. Well worth the money.
