TaylorMade Men's Rocketbladez Tour Iron Set

Usually forgiving and Tour Iron don't come up in the same sentence. These irons are however very forgiving and very hot. Great ball flight, sound and feel. Good top line that isn't butter knife thin and promotes confidence. I don't have a handicap rating but usually shoot in the mid 80s to 90. I'm not your traditional Tour Club player but I strike Irons well which lead me to this model over a game improvement set. The price of $362 delivered with Prime was hard to pass up on and if any sets are still out there at the $400 mark for 3-PW jump on it. I've read some reviews and I don't think they're as long as some have said but that is relative to what you've played prior. I have two rounds in as well as a couple buckets at the range and am really starting to dial them in and would strongly recommend. I'd think anyone who may be a tweeter like me that hits their irons well should go for a set like this. They'll give you the forgiveness you may need along with the feel not available in improvement irons and if you can get them at a low price you're getting the Best Value currently on the market.

I just received the new irons. I appreciate the thin top line and that I can't see any bulk at address. The Rocketbladez are a lot more forgiving than my old blades. Slight misfits seem to fly just a little shorter. I like the tour version of the clubs as the clubs have the correct lengths and lofts, similar to my older set. Only issue is that I am not a fan of the golf pride tour velvet grips, but that can be changed quickly.

I was hesitant to buy these irons at first because the price was so low compared to other large retailers. But Amazon has a great return policy so I went ahead with the purchase and I am glad I did. The clubs arrived in great packaging and they arrived on time as promised. I have not swung the clubs yet because there is still snow on the ground but the clubs have a great look/feel. They are heavier than I expected but I like that! I will follow up once I get to hit some balls with these!

I had been wanting a new set of irons for some time now and had previously had TaylorMade irons. A friend had these, I hit them once and loved the way they felt. Love how the 3-7 irons have a little bit more weight than the average club. Additionally, these do sound a little different when you hit them in the sweet spot, but when you do hit them they fly far. Have gained 10 yards on clubs 3-7, stayed the same on 8-pw.Definitely would recommend.

Absolute pleasure to hit this. This is buttery soft and goes long. I was toying between the tour version and non tour version and chose the tour version because it has the correct lengths and lofts (as you know non tour versions have different, souped up lofts and lengths). I am very happy. Of course my scores did not improve (yet), but I go for the irons (instead of hybrids) because they are so easy and smooth to get the ball up. Especially the 4-7 irons. I use now one club shorter as compared to previous irons.

What a great deal! I really enjoy these irons! Recommended for the experienced player as they are not as offset and forgiving as game improvement irons. They look great at address and have a nice shine to them. I would recommend to players that are looking for a good set of irons that have been playing a while. Players that shoot in the low 80s and lower will benefit most from these irons.

These clubs are great to hit. I am a 16 handicap and these clubs are awesome. Distance I have to club up 1 to get the same distance as I was with the Cobra AMP. The club face are milled for more spin which helps a lot. Played about 10 rounds with them and they are barely scuffed on the bottom they hold up well

Clubs came wrapped and in perfect condition, as they should. Very happy with my purchase! I'm around a 15 handicap and these irons have been great. No distance added or lost. Maybe even a little more forgiving than my last set of Adams irons. I like the grips.I would buy again in a heartbeat.
