DELETER Comic Book Paper, 9.84 x 13.9 (B4), A

I draw comics professionally, and this is by far my favorite paper I've ever tried. First off, it's thick enough to handle erasing pretty well. I usually don't even erase my lines since I use colored leads, but this paper can handle a good bit of eraser action, no problem. It's thick, but not board-thick. It's heavier than copy paper, but lighter than a lot of bristol pads on the market in the US. If you are used to bristol boards- this is totally, completely different. I'd recommend you give it a shot, though, because it's really nice paper. Secondly, it's cheap. It's a bit marked-up when you purchase it domestically (but then again, what isn't?), but even so, $10-11 for 40 pages of high-quality comic paper is insanely cheap. Granted, it's not the same animal, but even bristol board isn't anywhere near that price. If you can somehow score it directly from Japan, it's only like 500JPY for a pack. It's truly smooth- it's slick and doesn't chew up tech pen nibs, marker nibs, or dip pen nibs at all. My pens glide effortlessly over this paper- a sharp contrast to a lot of the bristol I've tried that is just too toothy for me to work with. Plus, ink doesn't really bleed out on this paper. When I drop some sweet brush strokes- the ink doesn't really spread out at all. It stays in place. And it dries... Really, really fast. This paper is awesome for alcohol-based maker work. Some of the thicker papers I've tried seem to just suck the ink right out of my poor makers- but this stuff is thin enough that it doesn't do that. What this paper does NOT do well, however, is work with watercolors. Like many other papers, alcohol ink will bleed through this somewhat, so make sure you're using a piece of scrap paper underneath. The size is great- JIS B4 size is approximately 9.8 x 13.9. It's smaller than a lot of professional-grade comic book paper out there, but, I don't find this to be a huge issue, especially because I use screentones, and that can get expensive if you're covering a large area. All in all, this is amazing paper. If you want to try out some quality manga paper, this is the stuff.

came in perfect condition, my ink bled but I found out it's because i was too heavy with my nib and cut into the paper.

I use these for Comic pages and they have impressed me. The pencil on the page goes down easy, but took some getting used to for me, ink however goes so smooth I cant believe it. The paper looks great, is ruled for you, I run pages full bleed and it shows me the cut off line and has lines to indicate page and title. Great paper, great price, unless you absolutely have to have 11x17 I would recommend this.

Excelllent quality paper, thick paper is perfect for ink. And coloring using markers does not bleed through page

this paper is extremely smooth and works very well with dip pens and a brush for manga or really anything u want to create with dip pens that is b4 size… comes with 40 pages or something which is a good amount of it for the price. its thin… thats probably the worst part… but honestly? i don't really mind it being thin just understand its not top tier paper for manga but rather a sort of standard mass produced product that is practical. understand the grid lines and other blue things are VERY faint haha i thought they were more visible before i ordered. also my paper came creased and with a dent in it? that was definitely why it gets a 4 star from me. had the paper not been damaged upon receiving it would be 5 stars… for standard run of the mill manga paper this is the GOOD STUFF lol. i plan storyboards and do the pencils for stuff all the time and take advantage of this papers thin nature to trace over it cleanly on another piece of this paper. the smoothness is very nice tho… it’s smoother than my strathmore bristol (not the vellum kind but the smooth kind). hope you read this review.

Works well with dip pens and is pretty cheap for its quality. It is marked up because it’s from japan, but ordering it straight from the official deleter website is more expensive due to shipping from japan (unless you’re getting it in bulk). Anywho, great product for practicing using the g pen and saji pen, and it’s in the measurements required by manga publishers, so it’s great to make a comic.

Been using this paper for years and is still my favorite go-to manga paper to this day. The items also arrived in good shape with no creases and scuffs as stated. Definitely would recommend giving it a try if you're on the lookout or are curious. Note: The ruler and panel spacing guides assist you with paneling and is amazing if you have a hard time figuring out panel layouts. It is also specifically blue as to not appear when scanned. Using blue led to draw and then ink over is reccomended but isn't necessary if you don't want to. Happy creating. (

I have ordered this paper every three months because it's reliable and very soft on the pencil strokes. Make sure you have it secured in a folder or portfolio, they wrinkle very easily if not protected properly if you're going out and draw. Otherwise, it gives you very good pencil strokes for penciling. For inking, please use a thin ink and not something too thick- for that you should get something a little heavier. But these are great paper for penciling and scanning for digital inking or drawing in general.

This product is brilliant for my comic book I am drawing and on normal paper my pencil fades so it turns into blunt colours but with this paper it locks in the colours leaving my drawings perfect. High quality paper and the guidelines helps lots to draw boxes and outlines in the right scale and size. Will definitely buy again. :)
