Incredible Value, Incredible Tool
I purchased this laser to use while building a new home. I am a former General Contractor and am familiar with the industry, however, I haven't been actively building since 2008 and a lot has changed since then. I was hesitant to purchase a new laser, as i was un-impressed with a previous laser level purchased in 2007, (and the modern big-brand lasers can get quite expensive). I took a risk on "Huepar" and could not be happier. Not only was the price for the laser and receiver reasonable, the quality and performance are exceptional and have made the construction process MUCH smoother. Having the ability to set elevations on a building site has been enormously helpful. We have used the laser nearly daily for the past 2 months without any issues. We have been running the laser for about 6 hours per day, and re-charging only once per week. We use the power saving pulse mode as we are primarily using the laser with the receiver.Having a 360 x 3 line laser is a game changer. We used the vertical lasers to locate the building on the site, and have used the horizontal laser to keep everything perfectly level. We also used the laser while trenching for plumbing to ensure our fall was correct. This has proven to be much faster and easier than line levels / transits etc.We have been using the laser in full sun and find that seeing the laser with the naked eye is difficult. However, the receiver has proven to be a perfect solution 99% of the time. I will say that when we wanted to lay out the house, we opted to do it after dark. Being able to see perfectly square lines shot across the building site was enormously helpful. However, as this particular project progresses and leveling duties move indoors, I expect the laser to perform much better with regard to naked-eye visibility. While pouring concrete, we inadvertently knocked the laser over from its tripod. It fell approximately 4 feet onto a hard concrete slab. Unfortunately, this fall threw the laser out of alignment in one axis. I took the laser apart to see if there was an obvious issue (there was not), and found myself quite impressed with its construction. The laser has become such an integral part of our workflow that I was happy to purchase a replacement. However, prior to purchasing a second unit, I opted to reach out to Huepar to see if they could help me re-calibrate the original unit. Their customer service team was prompt and incredibly helpful. While the laser was not able to be re-calibrated, Huepar set us up with a warranty replacement despite the fact that the issue was 100% our fault.Lessons learned:1. A 360 x 3 laser with a receiver is a game changer in construction and worth every penny.2. Huepar, while not a readily recognizable brand, makes excellent quality / value products3. Huepar's customer service is as good as it gets.If you're in the market for a laser, I would definitely consider this unit

Great value for the price.
I will be using this Huepar cross line laser level for both indoor construction and outdoor grading and landscaping.Okay, I just received the Huepar 603CG-BT and immediately put it through all its functions. I do not like to delay exercising intricate electronic equipment in order to take advantage of the generous Amazon return policy if the equipment is damaged or malfunctions in any way. First thing I did was to read the very brief manual that comes with the unit which really is necessary to quickly understand the lights and buttons and how it sequences through its modes of operation. The next thing I did was to turn the level on inside the great room of my home and verify its level and plumb lines on my walls using my 6-foot contractor grade bubble level. It was dead on every time. And the projected lines were very bright . . . inside my house . . .Then, I took it outside on a sunny November day. The line was only visible on projected surfaces to about four (4) feet away. But, I do not consider this a defect. This laser device uses a class 2 laser which signifies the hazard it presents to eyes (no damage for exposures less than two seconds). All such laser devices present dangers to the eye and if this laser were more powerful in order to project a clearly visible line in bright sunlight 100 feet away, it would have to be much, much more powerful which would present a much greater danger to adult human eyes, not to mention the eyes of children and animals nearby.Because I'm very risk averse, I scrutinize previous customer product reviews thoroughly and what I learned about this level (which applies equally to all levels like this one in this price range) is that a Line Laser Receiver is a necessary companion to any cross line laser level when used out-of-doors. I tested it to a distance of 100 feet and, although I could not even see the green line at a distance of ten feet, the receiver worked flawlessly in detecting the line precisely at 100 feet. At that distance, moving the receiver just 1/8 inch to either side yielded an out-of-alignment indication. Excellent! The receiver I ordered is the Huepar LR-6RG.The "BT" in the model number stands for bluetooth. It appears that only two Huepar cross line laser models are bluetooth enabled at this time (as far as I know, the 603CR being the other) and this is one of them. This feature allows me to remotely to shut the unit off (that is, shut off all laser projections) into a power save mode from my cell phone and to cycle through all four vertical/horizontal projection modes. But, to truly shut the laser completely off, you have to turn the power switch off at the laser, itself. I downloaded the app to my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G (Android) cell phone by scanning the QR code provided on an included card.So far, everything checks out okay. I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. It has often been said that "You get what you pay for." I, for one, have never believed this bromide. What I do believe is that "As a rule, you don't get what you don't pay for." This is not the cheapest laser line level nor the most expensive available but I was terrified of purchasing one of the "cheapies" and knew I would have to cough up a bit more to have any hope of not being disappointed. It seems Huepar has given me a very good "square deal."

Excellent Value — I think this will be great
I’m not one to go into elaborative reviews, but I’m going to get a great amount of utility out of this laser level. The carrying case is more than sufficient - this isn’t a demo tool that’s designed to take a lot of abuse. The foam cutouts securely hold all of the different pieces in place. The laser itself is phenomenally bright, as you’ll see from the pictures that I took. I’ll leave the detailed specs on beam width, leveling (vs a water level), etc to others but suffice it to say that using this indoors wouldn’t present any challenges, and I expect there are a number of instances where it would be adequately bright outdoors (without a receiver).I’ve done some checks with a 4’ level. The auto-leveling feature works perfectly, which was my primary concern in going with a lesser known brand. Don’t want to buy an expensive paperweight, and I’m glad to say that I didn’t.I buy almost exclusively Dewalt tools and I’m a rather serious DIY-er. I’m thrilled with this little device though, no need to spend 100s more for the brand I’m used to.And the Bluetooth functionality works great, pairing was a breeze and it’s easy to control the laser from your phone.I bought the whole suite of Huepar products - the telescoping tripod and the laser receiver. I’ve got equally high hopes for those products when they come in the next couple of days.
