Keep an eye for leaks and inspect your cooling system
The media could not be loaded. Now.................this is my luck....i bought a whole setup from spectra in april 2017 for my 1999 subaru legacy outback...a/c condenser, radiator CU1853, and fans...the fans Failed because the middle male pins burnt out in 3 months after install so i hard wired them to run properly...... As of last thursday oct 3 2019 car suddenly got extremely hot while waiting in traffic on a rainy evening drive from work this same radiator blew a leak in the core lines right in front of the left cooling fan spraying coolant every where over the front of the engine...battery...alternator and belts...my temp gauge was pegged at H......so got home about 3mins after incident happened....let the car cool down...i thought it was the cap going bad at 1st but upon filling it up gain with coolant it was pressurised sucking the hose shut...so i and to vent it manually...and could see the coolant leaking from the fins in the middle.....so i went to autozone oct 4 2019 bought a new radiator..turns out its the same spectra CU1853....installed it filled it up..wen for a drive after about 10mins of warming up and system purge for air....fans work and all so i went for a diagnostic drive....6 blocks later steam bellows from the radiator again...i thought it was splash burn off...nope....same exact area as the 1st radiator..sprung a leak again so nursed it back home parked it .....called autozone for another brand new one....turns out. To be another spectra CU1853 so i had it shipped the next day to the store location had it installed sunday oct 6 2019.....upon opening box me and my mechanic inspected it..no cracks or blemishes or wear nor damages..so we installed it.....filled it up with coolant....didnt turn the car on...insoected the install on a cold engine...the radiator was leaking from the side where the aluminum is seamed to the plastic...so i was beyond frustrated at this point i was already out 2 purchases of $119 from autozone and. 2 payments of mechanic installation fees.....this is a manufacturer error on build quality..bad enough the 2017 purchased one blew out so soon but 2 bad ones in one weekend.....no way....now i gotta see if my head gaskets took a hit from that 1st mishap .......these things need to be properly pressure tested before sale to ensure proper quality so this doesnt happen again..but like i said this was just my luck im sure others have had good results from spectra radiators and products......

Perfect fit, seems to be quality product
The plastics on the original radiator in my 97 Legacy L were starting to deteriorate and leak, so I replaced it with this one. It was a perfect fit, as advertised. Included new bolt clips for the fans, but nothing else. A couple of the fins were bent when the radiator arrived, but not a big deal. Spectra offers a 24 month warranty according to their website.During a pressure test, the hand tightened drain plug was leaking, so I had to tighten it up with some pliers about a quarter turn. Some install tips:Install the ATF cooler hoses with the radiator out of the car. Much easier to get the hoses on all the way.UPDATE 6/18/16: No problems so far, works great!UPDATE 8/26/17. Still works great. In fact, I've been towing up to 1200 lbs with this car, and I've had no issues.in the 76K this radiator has been in the car

Compatible Fans for Radiator
If you are looking for the compatible fans on Amazon the Spectra Premium CF14001 & the Spectra Premium CF14008 are what you're looking for.As of this review I haven't had the radiator long enough to tell quality, but I have put these fans on, and can confirm they fit properly. On the Amazon pages the fans look like the same fans but they absolutely are not. One is a radiator fan & the other is your A/C condenser fan.I was confused at first because the fans I removed off my old radiator where a single unit with two blades. Not sure where that came from, but thought the information might help anyone else who's in the same pickle.

Fits my 1995 Legacy with 2.2L and manual transmission
This radiator will fit both auto trans and manual trans cars. It is made in Canada (which is way better than China), but is rather cheaply made, and isn't a 100% flawless perfect fit into the car. The electric fans don't line up *perfectly*, the alignment pins for the radiator take a lot of wiggling to line up, and the top support/radiator mount doesn't fit quite perfect.I'm being very critical - the radiator fits and works fine, but to be 100% accurate, it isn't a *perfect* fit. Also, the radiator was received a bit bent - damaged from shipping, I'm sure - which is something other reviews have mentioned.

Good Quality Replacement
This is a direct-fit replacement for my 1995 Subaru Legacy Outback 2.2L. It comes with the adapters for the automatic transmission (just leave the plugs on if you have a manual) and and clip nuts for the upper and lower fan mount bolts. If you mount the lower radiator hose to the thermostat housing before you install the radiator you can do the whole job without having to crawl under the car.

Direct Fit on 1997 Subaru Legacy L 2.2L with auto
Exact fit without modifications. This radiator has been installed in a vehicle driven by a teenage boy in South Florida under the following conditions: (hard acceleration, stop-and-go driving, full air conditioning use, high ambient temperature, high humidity). The vehicle has also sustained minor front end impact since the radiator installation. The radiator withstood the shock without cracking or visible damage. This radiator has performed just as OEM under what I would consider adverse conditions. For this reason I would recommend it and would purchase it again.

Same brand as the ones sold at the local parts stores but $80 less
Really great price, the same one at the local parts stores were between $110-140. Installed in a 95 legacy, no leaks and seems good quality.

Needed modifications.
It was a little different than what I had original and had to make some modifications. For instance too the right there are two copper tubbings that were not on my original radiator so I had to rig it to work.
