A must have for indoor trainers!!!
A must have for indoor training!!! It comes 95% assembled!!! Very well made, it too 48 hours for delivery... I rode it today and love it. If you are familiar with e-rollers it is very much like that! No sore knees or feet after my ride! Stop thinking about it and buy it!!!

Great tool
I was surprised how different this platform makes my WahooKickr bike feel. Pedaling got harder using this, I assume because there is so much give when you’re peddling, opposed to when the bike is stationary on the ground. This was a plus for me as I feel as though when I finally move to outside riding (saving up for a bike/plus in MI I went with the indoor trainer first because i get more usage out of it) it will have me better prepared. My background for anyone interested is that of a runner who stumbled upon cycling after a tibial stress fracture sidelined me. I started with the Schwinn IC4 (a great spinning bike btw) and moved on to the WahooKickr Bike. My two hour Saturday rides on the bike were becoming uncomfortable in the saddle and I stumbled upon this platform. It works with the WahooKickr but i understand for legal reasons why they say not to. For one, I don’t use the climb feature on the WahooKickr bike but rather I just leave it locked. I could see why this would be dangerous using the platform. Also, sprinting on this thing while using the WahooKickr bike at-least, is not enjoyable. The forward and backward aft feels unnatural, and the side movement is not natural. I saw that last point in a YouTube review so I was expecting it, but it is very awkward. What I mean is when you sprint on a real bike, it sways opposite of you, I.E. right leg comes down bike sways left and Vice versa. With this, bike sways same direction. An analogy I can think of for what sprinting (again, with the WahooKickr bike, other trainers may be different) feels like is doing the hanky panky on a water bed from the 80’s. Love this thing though, it has greatly enhanced my rides and training. I am but a competitive cyclist though, just a hobbyist who loves the workout. If I had to use this thing for sprints with a WahooKickr bike, that would be a problem. On Amazon, this platform often falls down to $1,000 as well, if price is a problem for you. I’m sure there are times of the year it goes even lower.

Works with my Wahoo bike
I called them for supper and found them great, they did tell me it would not supper my Wahoo bike... however I just removed the straps off the front wheel holder and yes it supports my Wahoo bike!

Nice to have -but not worth the price tag!
I have been using my MP1 for several months, now. I ride indoor around1k miles a month. The MP1 It's well thought and built. it's a nice to have some lateral/forward movement, but not a game changer. I could do just a fine without it.Customer support is weak. Mine came with some rollers damage. I contacted to the factory not to return the item, and originally, I was told it was going to 3 months! to get the parts to me. Outrageous!Saris customer support only sent me the parts because I told them I was going to return it via amazon. I doubt I would ever get anything from Saris again.

Garbage quality not worth the price tag
The thing was defective right out of the box, straps barely hold down anything let alone a heavy trainer with a bike and a human on top, very cheap quality, and the motion isn't as fluid almost jerks you out of your bike in the forward motion.

Horrible Support. Stay away.
The platform is really nice, even if it is way overpriced. My trainer sessions are much more comfortable in the saddle than without the MP1. However, I have a major concern regarding the platform. Primarily, the velcro straps holding down the trainer certainly isn't industrial-grade. It feels weak and can easily be pulled apart without much effort. Because of my concerns, I opened a support ticket with Saris shortly after receiving the platform asking if I could purchase additional straps to tie down my trainer further. We're going on 3 weeks now since I opened that ticket and I haven't received a single acknowledgment of my request (yes I checked my spam folder and have sent followup emails asking for a status). I don't have any faith in Saris right now and if given the chance to start over, I would hold off for the inevitable alternative that will likely appear in the market soon.
