Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this mat. Re-assurringly heavy and sturdy. Don't be sceptical about whether it's up to the job because of the low price. It's great. Artificial grass seems just the right length for hitting golf shots and seems very durable. Doesn't need to be pegged down, just roll out and you're away. I choose the bigger mat. Either size would probably be fine, but the bigger one is obviously heavier and gives more club selection options due to the added length on one side. Very pleased with the purchase.

Bought this for golf practice in the back garden. As others have said the backing may not stand up to big 'drives' so I'm thinking of putting some extra padding under for that. But for small swings like pitching, putting or chipping this should be okay. Pros: - Very good size - Well made - Decent simulation of a grass surface - Had it for couple of weeks now and no shedding at all - Appealing appearance - Arrived quickly Cons: - Bit on the expensive side for a square of 'astroturf' (-1 star) - The dog won't get off it! We're thinking of letting the dog have it as a cooling pad for the summer and getting another one for the garden.

This mat is made exceptionally well! I was pleasantly surprised when I removed it from the box, unrolled it, and it laid perfectly flat, especially considering that it’s not super thick, but just thick enough to provide a comfortable surface to stand on when practicing my golf swing. I was also able to easily cut a hole in it to accommodate a rubber golf tee. The artificial grass is good quality, doesn’t shed, and feels good under foot. This product is an absolute steal at this price! I highly recommend!!

Good quality mat and value for money compared to full driving range mats. The hitting surface is good quality although quite slippy even in spikeless golf shoes. But it is quite flimsy as it doesn’t come with its own base or backing so if you put it on a surface that isn’t perfectly flat it won’t sit level.

Grass Mat is perfect for chipping and practicing your golf swing and leaves a mark to indicate swing direction, although this is not the purpose of the mat, its a bonus. Nice and thick lie represents that slightly thicker lie of the course for practicing the chipping onto a green. Good size to stand on and still take your swing. Perfect for home practice.

I'm amazed how good this is, for the price. I cut a hole easily and put rubber tees through it. I use it to hit into a net. Great

Generally a good product that you stand on which is important so your at the same level as the ball. The Matt has a hard base so not forgiving if you ground the club.

I bought this to save the lawn from extended practice during the lockdown (happy wife, happy life and all that sort of thing!) and very good it is too. Seems to be standard astroturf or equivalent and is very good indeed. One added advantage is that it shows where you have hit the ball because of the lie of the pile which gets temporarily slightly flattened when you hit it. This quickly gave me some very useful feedback. The product seems to be robust and also helps with your alignment. I bought the larger piece which I would probably recommend because it just gives you that extra bit of room to work on. All in all, very pleased and would recommend.

Smaller than advertised and is more flimsy than a tea towel. Waste of money.

Poor quality and doesn’t recommend this to anyone. The mat was in bad shape when it reached. Kindly don’t make these kinds of mats. I returned the product to Amazon and still no refund initiated from Amazon.

Very poor quality. Size is much smaller than shown in the specification on Amazon. Not worth it.

This is a useless product for the advertised purpose. Hitting a ball off this mat is bound to take the mat away too unless the mat gets nailed into the hard immovable surface
