I LOVE this stuff & highly recommend it...but know that it can be hard to work with (even for adults)
Remoldables plastic beady goo is AWESOME in many ways. So much potential to make fun and unique items, middle school/high school projects, & household repairs. It is important to understand that it can be a challenging material to work with. It is not really viable for little kids (my 11 year old can do it with my help; there is no way my 8 year old would be able to handle the heat of it, and she would get frustrated) It gets hot, and it can be hard to get to the right temperature, even for me (I basically keep boiling the water in an electric tea kettle to pour over it; it needs to be at an almost just-boiled heat).Realistically, it seems that will have to work on my "technique" to be able to make anything that doesn't look pretty rudimentary and childish. But it is still fun! And I was able to make some great Halloween costume props I couldn't find in stores. The instructions do not seem to be right, though, as it does not work at 150 degrees. I used a candy thermometer, and it seemed to get translucent and moldable more at the 160-170 degree mark, which is basically just-boiled water poured over it and mixed in, then replaced when it starts to cool much at all.You have to think ahead of time about what you will mix this in. Other reviewers wisely recommended that you should not use it in anything you will be eating in later, as the (odorless) material can hide and stick in there without you knowing, only to come out later. I tried paper cups (didn't work with the heat), plastic cups (melted into a giant mess), and then I realized that the answer is disposable coffee cups designed for hot liquids.Another reviewer helpfully recommended using disposable chopsticks for stirring (because you can toss them but they do not melt in the heat), and that has been a lifesaver with this stuff.BOTTOM LINE: It is great stuff, especially if you:A) can handle some pretty hot goop on your handsB) have some patience for trying different techniques to make it work well and do not expect perfectionC) do not try to use it with young children (I would say 11 or 12 might be the youngest)D) use it with something along the lines of disposable (hot liquid) coffee cups + disposable wooden chopsticks

Not all meltable plastics are the same quality / usability !!!!!!!!!!!!
I have used both Instamorph and Thermomorph with very good results. I ordered this thinking it was comparable because it had the color pellets included (what I actually needed).PROBLEM was.... this stuff is STICKY STICKY STICKY when melted... It is like molasses or honey... It was not possible to use because by the time it started to set (and loose its stickiness).... It then completely dried..... There was 0 work time.... Either sticky and unusable or dried and powered / layered dried pieces....I don't know if I just got a bad batch or what.... But I have used the two other brands with zero problems.Additionally, the color pellets did not melt easily AND would not mix with the other plastic.Complete waste of time and effort....Threw in garbage and immediately went with the Instamorph...... Perfect (except that I didn't have the preferred color).

If you are looking for that cool moldable plastic that you have seen in the videos
If you are looking for that cool moldable plastic that you have seen in the videos... Look elsewhere!!! This is a poor quality substitute. When it melts it becomes quite sticky and impossible to handle. Once it cools enough to handle it hardens within seconds. Impossible to use. A poor quality knock off of the real moldable plastic.

Yuk
If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to Instamorph, look elsewhere. The consistency of this product is like plastic glue, not moldable plastic. I tried to use it for a hobby project requiring a custom mold and almost ruined it. I could not form it up properly, and ended up with a waxy, stringy mess. Was the water too hot? Maybe. But I never had an issue like this with Instamorph, even at higher water temperatures. This stuff is horrible.

and the results were just really bad. The product does not stay in a liquid ...
This was not worth buying. Wish I could give it zero stars but that's not an option. When the product arrived we were excited to get to crafting so we followed instructions, and the results were just really bad. The product does not stay in a liquid or moldable state long, it almost starts drying on contact. Further more once it starts to dry, it sticks to everything and is really difficult to get off. This was a complete waste of money.

Very poor quality - don't waste your money
I followed all the instructions but no results. Main problems:1. when temperature of the water kept on the level tought by instructions (up to 150), plastic does not become soft enough to make shapes, no matter how much you wait. When water is heated more, plastic becomes terribly sticky and sticks to hands, surface of cup, and everywhere very badly. Not possible to make any figures.2. it starts to become harder immediately when you pull it out of water, so that you have only few seconds to shape it.3. ready products are not durable, very easily broken.look for more quality products

Not easy
Not easy to work with. Takes some working with to get it to work correctly. I find that kneading the plastic under cool water will help prevent it from sticking to EVERYTHING.

Changed my rating because I used a heat gun on it and it was easier that way. Don't put this stuff in water to heat it up cause it won't do right but a heat gun to melt it works a lot better
