CopicMarkers SB24 24-Piece Sketch Set, Basic

So I bit the bullet, and bought these Copic Sketch markers, without any experience of coloring with markers. The frost blue (I don't know the specific number right off the top of my head) leaks quite a bit, and almost messed up a picture? I fixed it though with my polychromos once it dried, but my goodness! I have to learn how to properly use these, lol! Aside from my little hiccup there I have taken some time to work on cardstock coloring images, and seems as though they work really well on cardstock type paper so far for me. Once I get more experience with these markers, I am sure it will be fine. Overall though they didn't take long to get here, I believe it was just a couple of days, and I love the fact they're duel tip which is nice for utility purposes, the colors are very vibrant, and easy to blend so long as you do it almost immediately after one color hits the paper, or cardstock. I at this moment have no complaints what so ever, I am really starting to love these markers, and am glad I bought them. They really add some bright/vibrant colors to my basic coloring's that I do.

I am an artist and art teacher. I bought these for my daughter who is amazing for her age. She loves drawing portraits in pencil and I wanted her to explore other media. She loves them and has done some beautiful portraits.

I adore these markers. I don't know how I ever got by without them. I love painting and using these markers is so much like painting that I was immediately comfortable using them. I appreciate that I'll only have to buy new nibs and refills instead of a whole new marker. They seem expensive but you're paying for quality and it's TOTALLY worth it!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I ordered it on December 16 and it came on December 22! the markers work amazing but the only thing is that it needs to have a certain type of paper since its alcohol based or something like that... but anyway i highly recommend these markers! They're worth it!

As others have stated some of the markers leave a large blob of ink. I was almost done with a picture I was really happy with, then blob, ruined. However, let me stress that this is not a Copic issue. I have about 30 other Copic pens that I’ve never had this issue with and I’ve used them extensively. I believe this has something to do with the seller [SEIDONY]. I have a strong suspicion that these are refurbished, not new and am (obviously) very unhappy about it. Since the seller is in Japan its not easy to return them, which is probably what they’re banking on. I’ve read that if you remove the other end of the marker it will ‘pressurize’ them.. strange I’ve never had to do that with any other Copic marker. Needless to say I will not be buying from this seller again.

Ordered markers for my granddaughter who is in high school and wants to be an artist. She loved the markers. The price was good and delivery was very fast. I was told to expect them at the end of April but they were here April 7. They also came with a letter expressing thanks for the order and telling me who to contact if there were any problems. All around excellent experience.
