Pikmin 3: Prima Official Game Guide Paperback – August 4, 2013

I purchased this at the same time I bought Pikmin. I try to buy the Prima Guide whenever I buy a new game for the Wii as I sometimes get stuck in an area and these can help get through.The book is large, all color photos of each level. it notes all the secret passages, and locations of power ups, etc... It spends a considerable amount of time explaining each enemy (strengths/weaknesses).I am pleased with the purchase. If you are looking to get maximum points, this book will help you get there.

You can't beat this guide anywhere for boss strategies, level maps, fruit locations and how to get them, and pretty much anything about this game. It even gives information on the mission mode levels and bingo battle layout maps. A really comprehensive guide.-2 stars for the fact that IMO "very good" condition does not mean a major crease and tear on the front cover with a large-enough-to-be-annoying piece missing from it. It doesn't take away from how informative the book is but I take better care of my books than that, thank you.

This book is good!

Bought my hubby the game for Christmas and added this on since it's Prima who are usually great. He was very pleased with it and will be using it for his playthrough(s). He's not the type of guy to say something is good when it's not (sighhh) so I could tell it was a good purchase from his reaction as he read through it.May be able to update later once he starts the game and uses this.

Item was as described except it said the cover was intact when in fact it had been torn off and taped back on

I usually get books for the grand kids. However, I don't just give it to them, If they get stuck I'll look up a clue for them. I want them to figure things out if at all possible. This does a good job of walking a person through.

My son loves Picmin and this book. He looks at it all the time. Excellent photos and information. Most of the info we already figured out on our own, but still a good read.

Having loved both Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 on Gamecube, I have long been waiting for the release of Pikmin 3 on Wii U!This review is about the Guide and not the Game, so I will not share my opinion of the MOST EXCELLENT Game, but instead share that the guide is well worth getting. Pikmin 3 is has a lot of new features / characters and gameplay aspects and so the guide is a great way to ensure you know everything there is about this cracking addition to the Pikmin series.

I bought this guide because I wanted to get 100% in Pikmin 3. The book helps you through the game and it helps you to get all the fruit and other collectible stuff in the game.If you considering buying this book, you wont regret it!

When I played that game I got a bit stuck in the third level, so as I brought this book and read it and it was great. Thanks to this book I won't get stuck on a game any more.
