My 6yo loves it!
Book Review: What If Everybody Did That?🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟This book quickly became a favorite in our home! What If Everybody Did That? is a simple yet powerful story that helps young readers understand how small actions can add up and why thinking of others matters.📚 What it’s about:The story follows a child who makes little decisions like littering or talking in the library and gets reminded with the question: “What if everybody did that?” Each scene shows what would happen if everyone ignored the rules, painting a funny but meaningful picture of chaos.👍 Why we loved it:• Relatable behavior: My 6-year-old saw a bit of himself in the character, which opened up great conversations.• Funny but clear lessons: The exaggerations made my child laugh, but they also made the message stick.• Great illustrations: Bright, expressive artwork that keeps kids engaged from page to page.• Built-in values: Respect, responsibility, and empathy all come through without sounding preachy. This book is great for sparking discussions and it’s fun enough to be read over and over. It turns everyday behavior into big-picture thinking in the best way.

Good book for kids that don't realize what their thoughtlessness can cause
I liked this book it may help some children realize what could happen when they just don't think. It may help some adults too. Most of our society do things without thinking about the results of our actions. Maybe if we teach our children it will help the next generation think before they act, Maybe?

A Thoughtful Teaching Gem: "What If Everybody Did That?" Children's Book
"What If Everybody Did That?" by Ellen Javernick and illustrated by Colleen Madden is a fabulous book and an essential teaching tool for any parent or educator. This delightful book not only captivates young readers with its silliness and good humor but also serves as a conscientious guide, highlighting the importance of considerate and decent behavior. The lessons in this book are ingeniously presented, showcasing the consequences of thoughtless actions in a child-friendly way. It encourages children to think about others and consider scenarios they might not otherwise ponder. What makes this book particularly effective is the focus on individual accountability, emphasizing that personal actions matter, regardless of what everyone else is doing. In a world where personal accountability sometimes takes a backseat, "What If Everybody Did That?" stands out as a valuable teaching tool. It addresses manners, environmental consciousness, recycling, respect for rules and laws, and the understanding that our actions have consequences. The book cleverly illustrates that if everyone were to engage in thoughtless behavior like littering, the consequences would be undesirable for all.The overall message of the book is not only wonderful but also timely. It is a must-read for pre-K through school-aged children, instilling important values in a way that is engaging and memorable. "What If Everybody Did That?" is a standout contribution to children's literature, promoting thoughtful consideration and positive behavior. Highly recommended for its educational value and entertaining approach to important life lessons.

Cute book, solid lesson for kiddos
This is a super cute book and the lesson is worthwhile, especially for kids. The only reason I gave 4 stars is bc the adults look so angry in each scenario and then the ending is so abrupt! It’s great and perfect for kids, but also just ends with the final “what if everybody did that” message and then that’s it and it wasn’t as smooth as it could have been. But, great way to teach kids about actions and consequences (on both sides!).

Beautiful art , Story is Solid
Too many books try to teach kids a principle, but end up preachy and eyeroll worthy. This book teaches kids that if everyone did all the bad things they thought about, the bad outcome would affect everyone. It does it in a humorous way, the pictures showing a hilarious outcome for each time someone asks " What if Everyone Did Thaf?"

Great conversation starter!
I bought this book for my grandsons. We read it together and the boys were anxious to think about the consequences of each of the situations presented. This is a great development book. The situations prompt discussion and thought. It's a great way to encourage conversation.

Great Beginning of Year Read Aloud
Such a cute book with a great teachable moment for kids of all ages. I've recently purchased this book for my niece & nephew to teach them why rules are important. This is also an excellent book for introducing the need for some common agreements in the classroom.
