Exactly what I wanted. After having cataract surgery, my near vision has left me needed reading glasses. This mirror magnifies exactly how I need it to. Perfect for makeup. Plus, it's well made and sturdy. Beautiful, simple design.

The stem is about an inch too tall for my liking. But I am short so the fact that the mirror portion tilts makes it workable.

This mirror is great. It was very nicely packaged. It's quality is very good.

It is perfect in every way. Exceeded my expectations, actually. But when I put in my search criteria, one of the must haves was that the mirror had to be lighted. I don't see the point of a magnified makeup mirror that has no light. I love the magnification. Maybe love is too strong a word because I'm seeing things that might best be left unseen. I've been walking around thinking I look cute, meanwhile I now realize I've had peach fuzz on my cheeks, a gray hair on my eyebrow and patches of dry skin. I might as well be a gremlin. This mirror actually makes my bathroom counter look high end, so as I said, I wish I didn't have to return it, but I'm not going to keep this mirror and still have to spend more on another mirror just to get what I actually asked Amazon to find me. I can see why it would make a great gift as it looks more expensive than it costs.They'll think you spent more than you actually did. And the gift box clinches it. The packaging is chef's kiss. Also, I don't see it breaking any time soon, the stand is sturdy, heavy-ish and a perfect height. There is no battery life because there are no batteries needed. I don't blame the seller. This is fully on Amazon and their defective AI search/recommendation system. Again, I HGIHLY recommend it. But only if you're okay with a non-lighted makeup mirror.

Beautiful with a traditional design, sturdy and with a long neck that you can't find in stores anymore. It can come apart for packaging and traveling and it got a good weight to it so you don't have to worry about it blowing off the counter. I love it so much. The magnifying of X1 and X10 is perfect for seeing yourself up close without it blurring you.

This is a very nice mirror,I was really impressed when I opened it up, the base seemed nice and stable (not attached yet) when I did attach the mirror the base didn't balance even? Maybe I got a bad base, but the reason I returned it was because the 10x mirror made me feel completely crossed eyed and had to sit almost right in front of it to even see. (I don't wear contacts and have almost 20/20 vision, but it the 10x was to strong for my eyes) but I loved the look of the mirror aside from the wobble base after attached.. and the 8in size was great! I wish I would have liked it more.cost me $9 to send back

It's definitely well made! I should have just gotten this instead of buying a cheaper one in the stores initially and realised cheap ones make one look weird. This one is SUPERB and is such good value for money. I love it and I am thinking of getting another for my daughter!

So happy with this mirror. It arrived so carefully packaged and is the perfect height to comfortably apply makeup. There is no distortion at all with the magnified side of the mirror. And it looks so lovely on my dresser draws.

There are so many mirror products out there, but I'm glad I didn't have to sample a lot to be satisfied with one. This is my first pick and I'm happy with it, did spend some time browsing online. It has the right size, shape, and weight for me. Seems well made, durable, shiny finish with nice packaging. I'm a man and I use this occasionally just find some spots on my face, pluck some facial hair. Once I'm done, I put it back into the packaging it came with. It's nicely packaged, with styrofoam mold template and cover, inside the white box, which in turn fits into a brown box. There was a thank you letter from the founder David Hu. I want this to last a long time so I put it back to the packaging once I'm done, to avoid any accidental scratch, and damage, or accumulate dust. I don't put on the base stand because I just hold the mirror with my hand, and putting the base makes it heavier. But the base stand comes with the mirror in case you need it. Both the 1x and 10x mirrors back-to-back work well, and it's clear (after I cleaned the thin layer of adhesive) The only think that may need improvement is perhaps removing the sticker on the mirror, or a sticker with less adhesive because when I remove it, it leaves behind a thin layer of adhesive/stickiness, making the mirror less clear with the sticky marks. I had to buy a Goo Gone adhesive remover to remove the adhesive. Once removed it was crystal clear. I wouldn't not deduct 1 star because of that, but just want others be aware they may also experience this issue with the sticker leaving adhesive/sticky substance on the mirror. Personally I wouldn't bring this on a trip or when traveling as it's bulky to bring and adds to the weight, or it may get damaged during travel. I rather just use this in the comfort of my home. Overall I'm satisfied with this mirror. Even men have to take care of their face, grooming, looking at the a handy mirror sometimes. Thanks David Hu and Mirrorvana for this fantastic product.
