It works! It's not very messy and a little goes a long way.

Works great to stop bleeding on those rare occasions when I accidentally get my dogs nail quick while trimming his claws.It's a little awkward to use because it's a powder. I keep a few very slightly moistened Q-tips & this on hand while trimming his claws. If I need to use it, I dip the moist Q-tip in the powder, then dab it on my dog's nail where it's bleeding. Works well. Works better if you apply a little pressure while applying it.

I clip my cat's claws because I am always getting scratched (accidentally) & they get holes in clothing & furniture. I read about how to do it properly & safely but.... cats are cats & sometimes they decide to squirm at just the right-or I should say wrong-time & you nip the quick in their claw & they bleed. Now, yes, I have only done that 2 times in the 12 yrs since I started clipping claws but it is traumatic. Buy this stuff just in case, it gives you peace of mind & it stops the bleeding fast. It's a great product!

I have used this product for many years. I use a grinder to keep my dogs nails short. If I should happen to grind until a nail bleeds, Kwik Stop immediately stops the bleeding.

Not only have I used it while clipping my dogs nails, but used it when I've cut myself as well.

I always hate cutting my dogs nails for fear of pain or blood but this stuff really works ! I was surprised but it’s easyish to use and it really does the job!

This is a must have product if you trim your dog's nails at home. Both of my dogs are really about getting their nails trimmed but every once in a while I take off a little bit to much (black nails). Stops the beading fast.
