Penguin Caffeinated Peppermints Unleashed, 8 oz

I'm not a coffee person, so I've been taking 100mg tablets by Jet Alert daily on work days. When I don't take it, I would get very bad headaches from withdrawals. I wanted to stop depending on caffeine, but my work requires me to have a sharp mind and a lot of energy.I tested out these mints by taking one before heading to work. It wasn't until the 2nd half of my shift when I felt like I needed another dose. I didn't have major headaches and I was still able to focus.I thought these 7mg mints wouldn't be enough, that I would need more than one mint per dose, but one was enough to help me get through 4 hours of my work day. It's also convenient to have when I need a boost of energy in other situations.These mints do not taste like regular mints, but what can you expect from a caffeinated mint? I think the peppermint is nice and strong for fresh breath. There's a slight medication taste, but it's very tolerable in my opinion.The price is fantastic. I look forward to ordering more when my supply runs low.

While the cinnamon are my favorite, these peppermint Penguin mints are great! I enjoy Penguin mints every morning on my early walk to help wake me up...and they taste so good!

They’re definitely minty, but they don’t last long, and I’ve never once noticed any caffeine benefits from them. Might as well just buy TicTac’s or something.

The package does not contain nutritional information or even the name of the product. It’s plugged as “frustration free” because it’s not even in a real food package. They taste right, but who knows what they really are!

Mints arrived on time and was exactly what I wanted

I'm a little surprised at what I got. There's nothing on the bag to indicate its origin, just a sealed bag of mints. No label nothing. Hopefully these are the real thing.

I keep these mints in the glove compartments of all our vehicles, and at my desk, for that little bit of pick-up when a cup of coffee isn't available, or would be too much caffeine. We've had both the plain peppermints, and the chocolate version. They're both good. The chocolate isn't a strong flavor, like you're eating a candy bar -- it's just a nice chocolatey taste.
