The impact is the only thing worth getting it’s pretty tough and reliable the drill how ever smokes or overheats or dies a lot it’s not worth

Impact might be ok, drill is not
Do yourself a favor. If your looking for a low cost drill go to H.F. and get the cheapest cordless they have. I have one them which has outlasted the Hart brushless drill by years! The clutch failed on my Hart after only a few months of occasional light duty use. I knew the Hart was not in the same club as say a Milwaukee but hoped it would be a good rugged long life tool. What a disappointment! The impact driver might be better? Time will tell. That said, and money wasted buying the hart, I did break down and went 'red'. Yes it cost more but is a tool that I can depend on.
