adidas Men's Puremotion Golf Shoe

These adidas Puremotion Golf shoes were part of my first purchase on Amazon. With my Prime membership, they shipped "free" and arrived in 2 days. On opening the box I was delighted with the look and the super-light weight and couldn't wait to try them on. I put on my favorite pair of golf socks and slipped the right shoe on my right foot and, wow, was it tight. I had read more than a few of the earlier reviews and had noted that even adidas recommended ordering 1/2 size larger than "normal," which I did, the shoes were labeled size 10. I usually wear 9-1/2 "regular" width in most shoes but, about 2 years ago, I found (and bought) a size 9 Pebble Shoal sneaker from Skechers, which fit like a glove and have been super comfortable. To be fair, I also put on the left shoe and laced-up both of them then took several dozen steps around the house. They seemed really narrow and were making my feet hurt so I took them off, re-boxed them and began the return process. I had them back in the hands of UPS within a few hours after receiving them. I did not feel that even going to a 10-1/2 size would provide sufficient width so went with another shoe. My next shoe order was the Puma Faas Lite, also in a size 10, and will review it there.

I have always worn Footjoys and these are not Footjoys. My normal golf shoes have stiff soles - the Puremotion has very soft and flexible soles. My normal golf shoes have replaceable soft spikes to keep me anchored to the ground in the swing - these have rows of turf shoe type sole. My normal golf shoes fit to size, these run a half size small. My normal golf shoes have a smaller "toe box', these shoes are very roomy in the toe area. All these differences make for a VERY different feel. However, I really like these shoes. They are comfortable, firmly stick to ground, and look good while doing it. But I must have been somewhat unhappy with traditional golf shoes to give these a try. And I am happy that I did.

These puremotion shoes are among the most comfortable I have ever worn on the course. I like wearing spikeless golf shoes and started with the Footjoy Comfort shoes with nubbies on the bottom of the sole. These worked fine, however, I found myself slipping badly on wet fairways or tees. I went to the puremotion and have not slipped since. In addition the comfort of the shoe prompted me to buy another pair. The shoes wash up nicely with soap and water, so it is easy to keep them looking well.I followed the mfg's recommendation and ordered a half size larger. The fit was perfect.I would and have recommended these shoes to friends looking for a spikeless shoe.

I needed a new pair of golf shoes and was interested in non-traditional spiked shoes. I looked in stores at several brands and nothing satisfied my interest. If it did, it cost much more than I wanted to pay. I then started looking online and came across this pair. I offered all that I was looking for and the price was great.They arrived in the timeframe allotted and within 2 days I was on the course with my new shoes. At first they felt a little snug but within an hour of walking in them they felt great. They are light and waterproof. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a good shoe at a great price.

because these are waterproof, there really isn't any "give". they're kinda like molded rubber boots on the bottom. i ordered a 1/2-size larger and they are correct size for 1/2-size less. after walking 18 holes the tips of my middle right toes were a little sore from pressure with the front of the shoe. perhaps if i tightened the laces more it would have prevented toes pushing the front but i like laces loose enough to slip on my sneakers.hope that helps others

I bought these after looking at ALL the shoes. Seemed to be well built when they arrived. But, size 13 was very short. I usually wear a 12 but buy 13s for NB and tennis shoes. These were way too short to be comfortable for a 13. Then, I realized the laces covered the whole top of the shoe. It looks like they took a size 10 top and sewed it to a size 13 sole. The laces practically covered the top of the shoe. Couldn't possibly be comfortable and besides, look bad. So, I sent them back.

Great shoes. Comfortable right out of the box. Adidas sizing is always a little tough to predict... I wear a 10 about 95% of the time. For Adidas, that can be anywhere from a 9 (Samba K) to a 10.5 (most of their hiking shoes). I have a wide foot, but not more than a 2E... Ordered the 10.5 and the fit is dead on. I don't find it too be a narrow cut. Light, good support. Great grip. Hope they last forever. I've waited 5 years to replace my shoes, because I didn't find exactly what I wanted. I'm glad I waited.

After wearing these shoes for several rounds walking, I am very satisfied with the fit and performance. They are super lightweight and one of the most comfortable pair of golf shoes I have used thus far. Time will tell as to how they wear and my only real negative feedback is the look/design as they are a bit unique. I always buy my golf shoes a 1/2 size up and did the same with this set... which would have been too smal had I ordered my normal size.Overall nice shoe that is great for golfers that walk.
