Are these still mystery flavor crayons? my buddies and me back in my u.s. army infantry days would argue about which color crayon tasted the best.

I don't think I would like to taste this. It would taste waxy. I think that it is regular crayon.

Yes. They are standard sized crayons. Crayola will sell boxes of all one colored of any of their basic colors. I needed white for specific art projects.

Should i order the big size as some say they break. do the work for watercolor resist. some say they don’t work well. so i’m confused.

Yes, they work with watercolor resist if used correctly. Meaning, with any crayon and watercolor resist a certain amount of pressure must be used to get a waxy texture from the crayons. Yes; they do break easily; but, most crayons do nowadays.
