Great Liner!!
Used to line a commode. Easy & clean... Excellent idea that the absorbant pad is included.... This us a no mess product. My husband recovering from a colon reconnect surgery. BM's are irregular for the first week and a half... Having the commode & the liners made this period of time less stressful for the patient and caregiver. The plastic is strong enough... no leaks. I did notice that it was a bit stinky, after a few hours, if I disposed the used bag in the kitchen garbage.... What works better & not stinky is to close the liner by twisting it just above the mess, then turn it into itself.... sort of a double bagging effect.... tie w the strings. Then I put the bag near the exiting apartment door and when I go out each day, I throw it in the Large Apartment Garbage.... All done....

Works well, no leaks (and that's really important!!!)
I had an elderly relative coming to visit that insisted that they would not be able to make it to the bathroom at night. The idea of having a full bathroom station setup in a bedroom in my house was not the most appealing to me. Even less appealing was the idea of having to carry a bucket of human waste down the hall to the bathroom to dump and then clean out the bucket. I saw these on Amazon and thought it seemed like a great way to avoid a lot of that hassle. The bags seemed to do their job and hold all liquids indie, with do dripping or mess. This definitely helped me to avoid a lot of mess. I think these bags would be very expensive if you had to do this on a regular basis. Like I said, I bought these just for a temporary (one week) house guest, and I found them to be worth every penny in that situation. However, if I had to pay for one of these bags every day, I may learn to just get over it and clean the bucket in the bathroom. Definitely a great convenience product though.

Super Helpful Liners with Absorbent Pad
These have been a godsend for taking care of a parent. Getting up with caretaking 3 - 4 times each night was really getting exhausting! Now I simply use these in the bedside commode and get to go back to bed sooner. I keep them next to the commode after each use I1. Close used liner pushing out extra air and tie it closed.2. Put the next clean one in the commode leaving the used (air free & tied closed one under the new one). That used one is pretty flat under the clean bag and so doesn't interfere with the functionality of the commode.3. Next time she gets up, I do the same . . and again . . and againIn the morning I simply toss out all the used bags in the commode (usually about 4) and the bucket is still clean. This system has helped me function better in the morning from awakening multiple times in the night with my invalid parent; and it's made attending to her needs more rapidly in the morning because I'm not taking any extra time for cleaning the bucket. So far I haven't had any leakage issues. I'll get back to you all if this comes up.

Convenient and effective
I have used these with a portable commode following my wife's knee surgery. They do fit securely into the container of the commode we are using (Drive Medical folding bedside) and are easy to use. They are certainly more expensive than standard kitchen or office plastic bags, but they are of a slightly sturdier quality and they come with the absorbent pad which, while it does absorb nicely and does reduce odors, does not absorb all of the urine that one might expect from overnight use. I have reordered at least once, so obviously I am satisfied. If you were planning on dumping the waste into a nearby toilet that will not be possible with these - the absorbent pad prevents that. You just have to seal them up tight and dispose of them in the trash. Some people may find that unacceptable. And, no, the bags cannot be rinsed and reused; at least not easily or conveniently.

Put to the Test... For a Sailboat
We purchased these because the reviews were so good, and we thought they might offer an ideal solution for use on a small sailboat we’re fixing up that has tight quarters down below, just bench seats for sleeping and no dedicated “facilities.” In a narrow space at the bow of the boat, with a small portable toilet, privacy curtain and hand sanitizer, we hope to have what we need for a nearby overnight or even jaunts of a few hours. But, in close quarters and on a moving boat, we can afford neither spills nor smells. It’s so convenient to use one of these liners, each user tie theirs off after use (if you loop it after pulling the drawstrings, as the video shows, there should be no leaks or smells), put it in a sealed container and place a clean liner and pad for the next person. We intentionally put it to the test before heading out on an overnight. Not wishing to be graphic, but I actually put 2 tied off, used bags into the dock box for the day and overnight before disposing of them the next morning, so I’d know if we could sail off with confidence. The pad had certainly absorbed well enough that there was no concern about leaking, and (though I don’t know how these would perform for “extreme” soiling situations or illness) when I opened the dock box there was no smell whatsoever. I also like that while these do eventually biodegrade when exposed to heat or sunlight (mentioned in the finer print) they don’t feel super thin. I do think I’ll store the roll of liners in a small airtight container, as I don’t know if too much moisture in the air would alter the effectiveness of the pads. Simple, Clean, Convenient! Yay!
