This is the second Optima Yellow Top Dual purpose battery that I have purchased and I am very please with it's performance. The Optima yellow top I had before this one lasted 6 years with much use during camping. Six years is a very long time of discharging and recharges, for any RV battery. My other batteries were the typical deep cycle acid batteries which only lasted about a year and a half. This battery holds a charge very well. I can camp for 4 to 5 days without recharging. I highly recommend this battery because you get more for your money.

My husband loves this product, we have two of these batteries in his race car, two in the race care trailer, and two in our motor home. When he had difficulty using the wench in the trailer to bring the car in and out of the trailer, he believed the batteries needed to be replaced, so I ordered this one. After placing the order, my husband discovered a loose wire, when that was reattached the wench began working as it should. I tried to cancel the order, but was unable to do so. When the battery arrived, I followed the process in Amazon, emailing the company. Three emails were sent, I did never received a response. I called Optima on 11/27 and was told by customer service I had to call Amazon to return the battery. While trying to locate the number to call using Rufus, I ended up in a chat with a hazardous materials return associate. He said the battery is not returnable. Optima says it is, but I have to go through Amazon, who says it is not returnable. I was stuck with a $400 battery I did not need. If the battery is not returnable that should be indicated before in the listing, so this is known before an order is placed.

The free prime shipping saved me a bundle. It arrived in just two days. Put it in the travel trailer, complete with new spade lugs on the power leads. After our first camping trip with it installed, I was thoroughly impressed.A good friend had recommended it because he has one that is about 4 years old and he installed it in his Tundra. Even in the Arizona heat (up to 125 degrees daytime), it held up well.

I bought this to add to my camper van project as an auxiliary battery. It is an expensive battery, but you get what you pay for!

I was hesitant to spend the extra money in hopes the cost would ofset the fact that I was burning through 4 batteries in my Semi every year and Optima claims 3 years life. Well, its been 4 years and I like them so much I bought a second batttery box and have 6 total batteries now with this current purchace of 3.I regularly drain them down to 11.1 volts before starting the truck again. During my 10 hour break I use my Vue Cube Direct TV sattelite system, TV, Webasto bunk heater, webasto Engine block heater, refrigerator/freezer, interior lights, charge my phone and bluetooth headset, sometimes also using my Laptop and printer too. With all six at the end of a 10 hour break and full use of my gadgets the battery guage reads 11.9.........Not bad! No longer interested in Lithium-Ion and its inherent risks.

I chose this D31T "threaded stud" battery to power my battery-backed sump-pump.Amazon's website suggests a "Shoreline Marine Battery Marine Terminal Kit" to adapt its "battery posts" to threaded studs.That is WRONG. This battery's "posts" ARE threaded studs. I chose stainless steel 3/8"-NC nylon lock-nuts, which very neatly hold the charger and sump-pump lugs onto the battery studs.After a brief charge, a battery test showed over 1500 CCA (label says 900).I am very pleased. I will amend this review if anything changes my mind.
