I use for baking but did a taste test of the power alone and it tastes nice.
In our current quarantine situation, I ran out of my supply of non-fat milk powder on day one. I searched my local Publix and Walmart and my tried and true powder was unavailable. So began my internet search for ingredients. I was shocked to find limited options available on Amazon but am happy to report that this specific purchase was just what I was looking for. I use the non-fat milk powder for my bread and this worked perfectly, absolutely what I needed. And although the price is a bit steep, the fact that non-fat specific milk powder is very hard to find, I was happy to pay the price. I'm happy to have a decent supply for future baking needs.

Mom tested, Kids approved. Thumbs Up!
I honestly think that the ppl who wrote bad reviews are doing it to scare off potential customers, so that it will always be in stock. I normally use Carnation Dry Nonfat milk or any brand from the Supermarket. Because of Covid-19, when I went for my monthly shopping the shelves were empty. Not even Amazon had it in stock. I purchased this because I was desperate. It was a good buy. Individually packed so I dont have to open a large portion. Tastes really good. I dont find it any different than another brand. Nonfat Milk has that Nonfat Milk taste lol. My kids are enjoying it and so am I. I've been having Nonfat dry milk in my pantry for over 15 years, since my first born. You never know when your gonna need it and it works- fresh. It's safe and has good taste. I like to whisk it a bit more bcs the kids like a frothy top. I dont know why I cant add a photo(?)

Good Product, But Expensive
This stuff does, as claimed, work quite well as coffee creamer. (I had been using grocery store powdered milk for that purpose for many years, but this month I could not find it in my store, so ordered this.) However, this stuff is at least twice as expensive as equivalent amounts of powdered milk that you would get in the grocery store. Be aware that the three one-pound bags of powdered milk ship in a box that is 7 in. X 7 in. X 7 in. No instructions are included about how much powdered milk you should mix with how much water to get a consistency similar to fresh milk. (For other kinds of instant powdered milk, the recipe is 1/3 cup of powder per 1 cup of water.) Their nutrition label lists a "serving size" as "12 fluid oz (24 grams)." Hmm ... 12 fluid oz is 1.5 cups, and according to my food scale, 1/3 cup of this stuff weighs 28 grams, not 24 grams. Anyway, a one-pound bag weighs 454 grams, and thus will give me about 16 of my 1/3 cup servings, or else it would give someone 18.9 24-gram servings. In this time of in-store restocking problems, I am grateful to have found this product online; however, I probably will not buy again. UPDATE: I ordered a US-made competing product on line, and found that the other brand was noticeably less easy to use as coffee creamer. This stuff, I could just dump a quarter-cup of it into a large mug of coffee, stir, and almost all of it immediately dissolved. (This was also true of the dried milk I used to buy at the store, but now cannot find.) With the other brand I bought online, it was necessary to stir it in little by little and then re-heat, and there were still somewhat more lumps to spoon out afterward. Also, the price of this stuff is now (5/31/2020) listed as about $30 for product plus shipping -- it was about $43 total when I first purchased and reviewed. So, I am no longer going to dock them 1 star because of the price.

Tasted good!
I was very sceptical because of some bad reviews. I was pleasantly surprised! I am familiar with dry milk. It has a distinct taste. But this one is great! Actually the best I have tasted yet. I did use warm water and a blender to mix it up. Not sure how any other method would work as that's the only method I used. The box is small though. But the measurements are different. It makes more than the average dry milk.

Good product!
Tastes the same as I recall Carnation dry milk. Mixes well. They recommend mixing in hot water, but I found that it dissolved as well in cold water. Finely granulated. It came in 3 silver colored, one pound plastic pouches. I poured the contents of one pouch into a dry empty one-quart milk container with the top cut off. It pours well from there into a cup. After the initial trial with 3 teaspoons per cup, I feel it does not have to be exact. In fact, I like it thick. As a paste it has a desert-like allure. It could even be added to regular milk or beverages as a high nutrition fortification. As to the supplier, their misfortune was my good fortune in that the first shipment from NJ to me in NY got lost at a USPS depot in Pa. They replaced it and it later arrived. I offered to split the difference by paying half the cost of the extra package, which they declined. They suggested donating one shipment to a food pantry if it is unneeded. I thought that was nice of them.

Tastes good. Expensive!
Taste very good when well mixed and chilled over night. I did add 1 teaspoon sugar and dash of vanilla extract (per gallon). EXTREMELY expensive at approx $15.00 per gallon of milk. I did not figure the math prior to ordering, assuming it would yield far more than 3 gallons prepared.

Very Handy to have around
I don't normally use dry milk, but with current shortages in the stores, it is been handy to have a backup product to use. The milk supply in stores is getting more reliable, but every once in a while I run into a situation where a milk marauder has drunk all the milk and I desperately need some for cooking or a bowl of cereal. Instead of having to run out to the store, I just mix up a quick batch of what I need. For a little extra flavor, you can add a little extra vanilla, strawberry or chocolate. A small amount of sugar or a tiny pinch of salt can enhance flavor. If you buy whole milk in the store, you can make it stretch a little farther by mixing in the non-fat dry milk. If you have some dried egg powder, this can be added to make a richer version of milk. Enjoy always have milk available.
