Guess Clue?
So going to go over the different parts of this game and an overall review, but going to say that this little game is one of the best games to introduce gaming to a young child!Game overview:The game is cooperative deduction game, and uses a combination of clues with suspects who either have or do not have one of the objects in the clue. On your turn you decide if you are looking for suspects or clues, then you roll some custom dice three times trying to get all of the feet or eye symbols, if you don not a fox moves on a path towards his fox hole. The eyes allow you to flip over two suspects while the feet allow you to move as many spaces as feet. If you reach a clue you may place it on the device and then pull open the front panel which reveals either a green or white spot which means the thief either has or does not have the item. If you determine the thief before the fox figure reaches his whole.Components:The cards are of good quality, the custom dice are great, the board is clear and the revealing device works well! The only thing you may have to look out for is that the revealing device does require good lighting as the green and white background can be hard to differentiate in low light.Rules:The rules are clear, and it is easy to follow what to do on a turn. I will say that I have made one house rule for playing with kids who are younger, I let them choose eyes or feet after the first roll, so they have more success.Game length:The game plays quickly, about 30 minutes if all are engaged, high end 45 minutes.Complexity:This is slightly more complex than say candy Land or shoots and ladders, but would be around the same as Sorry or Guess Who.Teaching opportunities:The game provides opportunity to talk about deduction, odds, observations, turn taking, sequencing, and working with others.Overall:Obviously, this game is designed to play with kids, and that is why I rank it a 5 out of 5 here. The decision space is rich, the access is similar to other kids games and the technology to create a cooperative Guess Who is excellent! I would not expect too many adults to pull this off the shelf for their own game night, but for what it does for kids games it is a must buy for anyone with kids five years old and up!

Great
Outfoxed is a great game - colorful and well-designed, with pieces that feel sturdy and kid-friendly. It’s easy to learn, which makes it perfect for younger kids, but still fun enough for adults to join in. The gameplay encourages teamwork and thinking, and it’s a nice way to spend quality time as a family. Definitely worth it for the price.

A Foxy Mystery That’ll Have Your Kids Feeling Like Tiny Detectives
Outfoxed! is like Clue for kids—except instead of a murder mystery, you're solving the case of a missing pie. And honestly, that’s a crime worth investigating. The game is simple but engaging: roll the dice, gather clues, and track down the sneaky fox before they escape. The clue decoder is pure magic to little minds, making them feel like real detectives (tiny Sherlock Holmes in pajamas). Plus, it teaches problem-solving and teamwork—because let’s be real, preschoolers need all the teamwork skills they can get.The only downside? If your kid gets too into it, expect them to start accusing you of stealing random household objects. But hey, that just means they’re invested.A great game for family fun and future detectives in training!

Cooperative, Educational, and FUN!
It’s a wonderful game for me and my grandchildren, aged 4-14! It’s a cooperative game, but they don’t realize it! They enjoy playing it over and over while they use problem solving and deductive reasoning. Excellent quality! Worth the cost!

5 stars — A brilliant, engaging game that grows with your child!
Outfoxed has quickly become our favorite game to play together. I first introduced it to my son when he was around 3¼, and now at nearly 3¾, I’ve seen a huge leap in how he interacts with it. What started as a fun, collaborative mystery has become a fantastic way to watch his deductive reasoning skills blossom. He’s beginning to grasp process of elimination, make intentional guesses, and even explain his thinking out loud—it’s truly amazing to witness. The artwork is incredibly engaging—my son loves looking at all the different places the fox might visit, and the visual clues keep him invested from start to finish. The game pieces themselves are excellent quality, with a really nice feel in the hand. As a parent, I genuinely enjoy playing this game too.One of the best parts is how flexible the pacing is. Sometimes a game goes quickly if your deduction clicks early; other times, it stretches out depending on how much you explore and how strictly you follow the rules. I’ve been relaxed about some mechanics, like movement and turn-taking, so my son could focus on reasoning and exploration—but it’s a game that can grow with him, and I know I’ll be able to gradually introduce more structure as he’s ready.Overall, Outfoxed is a gem: thoughtfully designed, easy to adjust for younger players, visually rich, and fun for adults too. Highly recommend!

Favorite for Family Game Night
It’s no wonder this game has A TON of positive reviews, it’s really that AWESOME!! It is like a watered down version of clue except you’re working together to solve the problem. My 6 year old granddaughter announced its like “the good guys against the bad guy and we have to win!”The game actually goes by pretty quickly once you learn how it works. The quality is top notch. It’s become one of our favorites that even we, the adults, enjoy playing. Definitely worth trying it out!
