Set of 10 pcs Window Sash Weep Cover 1210WHITE

My original window inserts slowly disintegrated and fell out in the Florida sun and weather! Took a long time to find ones the fit my windows. These cover your rain drain holes and have a flap which opens to lets water drain out but stays shut otherwise to keep insects out! I had a couple of wasps get into the old open holes which made me realized some of the old inserts were missing. Wow the noise wasps make in a metal window frame and let me tell you it’s no fun trying to spray high powered wasp spray into such a tiny hole! These worked out great for me. Be sure to check if these are the correct inserts for your window, I measured the stem holes and the hole size. Recommend

Here in FL little insects will find any way they can to enter your home. Apparently the solar rays degraded the original weep hole covers and they were broken off of the windows allowing the tiny ants and gnats to enter. Measure for the correct size and then pop these right into the anchoring holes and no more little insects. These are hinged thus moisture can escape but bugs can't enter.

The shape of the weep hole covers matched perfectly the ones that had dried out and crumbled. However the spaded insets that snap into the holes on either side of the weep hole opening were smaller in diameter and would not grip the holes. I ended up using silicone adhesive to hold them in place

These were a good replacement for missing and broken sash weep covers. The only problem we had was that the holes in the window sash were bigger than the pins on the covers. We fixed that problem by using duct tape around the pins and they were good to go. Glad we have extras.
