I waited a while to review this item. Simply because I needed to use it for a while to be thorough and honest. I ordered it July 20th (2018), it arrived on the 23rd. Today is Dec. 10th (2018), and the battery is dead. And by dead- I mean not only does it not hold a charge, but it will no longer charge up. It's done. I simply took the battery off and am running my laptop with it plugged in. I'm currently seeing if I can get a replacement- I mean 4 months and 10 days is a very short battery life. I wouldnt advise anyone buying this battery. But- if I get a replacement and it lasts longer, and this particular battery is just a goof- I will update my review.

Bought this for my husband's laptop. It worked great at first, but now the battery only lasts for about 45 minutes which isn't ideal since he has to take it to class with him. Will look at buying a different brand.UPDATE: After seeing my review, the company for this battery contacted me. They sent me a new battery thinking that the one I received was faulty. The new battery that they sent us does last a little longer, so I am upping it a star. It is always nice to know that Amazon works with companies with great customer service like that.

Bought this battery as a replacement in April 2017 of this year and the battery is already dead. The battery was having issues after about 3 months and now it holds a charge for maybe 5 minutes. I've literally owned this product for about 5 months so needless to say I'm not happy with the quality or the fact that I waste more time trying to figure out how to use the warranty. I'll update this review once I've gone through the warranty process but for now I would look for other replacements.

I don't normally write reviews because it's annoying for how many things I order. But from all of the reviews of batteries being lighter and not working as well as they should pretty much across all of the selection on amazon for my computer, this battery seemed just as good and bad as the rest. Well I ordered this battery and it came with a very polite, helpful message and instruction to make sure your battery was up to the task of high power output. Well even though I did not follow these instructions(thanks anyway) the battery is working very, very well despite the jump I thought I was taking when ordering this battery. I play battlefield and other intense games so a battery is highly needed. This seller and product is awesome and all is working better than expected!!!! Thank you very much!!!

*UPDATE* I received a new battery straight from China and let it charge for 24 hours before use. It has been wonder. No more shutting down after a few seconds. The first battery must have been a lime. Thank you for a great product.Maybe a bad battery but only holds charge for a few minutes and laptop dies. Says 100% but it is not, battery light will start to flash just a few minutes after unplugging the AC adapter. Returning and ordered a OEM from ASUS

I fully charged then disconnected mains power. Laptop ran maybe 20 minutes until battery reported 76%, 1 hr left, then abruptlly shut down. It would not restart without being connected to mains. I restarted laptop, battery reported 76%. I disconnected wall power, laptop ran for a few minutes, reported 75%, 1 hr remaining, then abruptly shut down again, and would not restart until connected to wall power.I'm returning this battery.

I think there is something wrong with this batteries contacts. It seems to work while the laptop is plugged in; the battery shows that it charges. But if I pull the power cable, the laptop crashes like there is no battery in it.

This battery works for about 30 minutes showing a pretty high battery charge. Then, without warning, it just stops supplying power to my Asus computer. I can't live without the warning that I've come to expect from the batteries from other manufacturers. So I'm just throwing this one away.
