I purchased this Amber LED Traffic Safety Wand Flashlight for a large event my company helped put together at a convention center this past May, where we needed something bright to direct a large number of people. I was very happy with it, but I needed the wands in two other colors that I didn't see available on Amazon. I left my glowing review (haha, see what I did there?) of the seller under his profile, but just want to mention that I really appreciated the level of customer service he provided me with for the products I needed.This is a review of the Amber LED Safety Wand, but also applies to the red, blue, and green-colored ones, so I copied this review and posted it for those listings as well. These wands are light, bright and highly visible at a distance of at least 260 ft., or approximately the length of a football field, which was how we used them. The baton itself is not too heavy and has a convenient wrist strap attached.I ordered several of each color of safety wand that the seller custom-made for me, and I and my boss were very happy with their quality and appearance. We plan to use them again next year, and I have no doubt they will shine just as brightly then as they did for us this year. I definitely recommend them!

The media could not be loaded. Brighter than I expected. Took 3 AA batteries. For the price it is a bargain. Light weight construction. But for traffic control that is what you want since you will be waving it around for a long time and you don't want to have tired and sore muscles from a heavy light. I would recommend this light.Also makes a good road flareJune 2018. Update. I had to do traffic control at a construction site at night. These really shined. The truckers had no problems seeing my directions.

I bought this and used it for about 3 hours one night although not constantly. I would use it for a few seconds as needed then turn it off until needed again. Probably had about 20 minutes of actual use at the end of the night. The following night, I put new batteries in it and felt the handle getting warm within a couple of minutes. I removed the batteries to make sure I hadn't put them in backwards and they weren't. I put them back in and within 30 minutes, the plastic battery pack inside was melted and it hadn't even been turned on. I returned it for a replacement and the new one has worked flawlessly night after night. It has 3 modes, BLINK, ON, and FLASHLIGHT. The only complaint I have is that the "flashlight" could be brighter.

As a first responder, I often find myself directing traffic at the scene until law enforcement arrives. During darkness, these come in handy for extra visibility when moving vehicles through an accident. I have them in red and in yellow (writing the same review for the other color as well)

Ok I'm a cop and conduct a lot of traffic control so I wanted a light that is bright that drivers will see. I got this wand and it's not as great as the pictures they show. In the picture it looks like it suppose to be super bright but it's not. I light weight and I was able to use it during the day because you can see it pretty well without the light on. Just the color of the wand is bright but the lights is horrible. I would not recommend this light unless you don't have that much money. If you do then I recommend getting a stream light with a yellow cone that is the brightest one I've had.Hopes this helps

We purchased this color along with the red and green. These are more of an amber gold color. They do the job but this color is not as appealing or bright as the green and red. I guess I envisioned them being more 'neon'... these are warm, amber yellow in color. For our volunteer team- this is the color that none of them wanted to use and thus were left for the late coming volunteers. The disappointment on their faces was harsh as the wands work great but just not as cool as the other guys who had the green and red.

I bought this for walking my dog in the evening and mornings. It really is quite bright and it even exceeds my expectations.This evening I took my dog for a short walk after dark. While doing so, some jackass came flying through the neighborhood at twice the the speed limit. I stepped out to the middle of the road with the light and the driver swerved at me. That is when I fully realized the durability of this light; I suddenly transformed into an angry old man and somehow may have lost contact with my light, but thankfully it bounced off of the drivers side window and landed in the neighbors yard. Much to my surprise, it was still lit and fully intact.It's really hard to find such durable products these days. I highly recommend this light.

I frequently do traffic control as a volunteer and felt that even with a safety vest I was not as visible as I would like. I have used this product once so far on a relatively lengthy assignment late at night. I definitely feel it made me much more visible and effective in controlling the traffic. After reading reviews of various safety wands I selected this one primarily due to its lighter weight. I found that to be a much appreciated factor on a long shift. I am very pleased with this product and have since purchased a second one as a gift for another volunteer.
