Got this initially about 1/2 year ago for a little dog I have that has blown knees (if you can believe it). Vet said the surgery would be a few thousand bucks, and the pup still needs it, but THIS stuff REALLY got her pep back. She really has the spirit she used to after using this stuff (she tries despite the fact her legs can't always back her actions. But ALOT less PAIN- so it seems). Thumbs up....(recent, RE-order): Got package and one of them was opened, slightly leaking. It may have just been from the recent heat (maybe sitting in the USPS's van.?.?) but it wasn't like, unscrewed, just like it'd popped! The lid was actually slightly off-kilter a bit; and the tamper-proof seal was lifted. I'll go through whatever motions I need to so I can return ONE of them, but since my dogs kind of NEED this stuff, I HOPE they don't ask for the unopened one! EEK..

07/23/18 - this seems to be working BUT I just received another order of 2 bottles and both bottles are darker than the others and seem to be stronger. She will not take her daily dose willingly now, I have to put it in a syringe and squirt it in her mouth. Everything on the bottle is the same but now I'm questioning the consistency & quality. Will keep an eye on her to see if she has an adverse reaction.My 1st review - she hasn't been on it long enough for me to really say if it's working better than her other supplement. I did order a 2nd bottle to make sure I give this a good try. She hates taking anything and can pick up on anything in her food, so this in a syringe after she eats, is a good alternative.Wish I didn't have to rely on her eating to give it to her - she doesn't always eat, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the product.

I had put my 8 year old dog on glucosamine supplement about a year ago and saw significant improvements in his joint health. it seems to work well for dogs and horses. I have never seen any improvements in cats, just fyi. i have used several different brands, mostly to see if there is any significant difference between them. , honestly, they all seem to work equally well. i went with this because the dog is a picky eater and sometimes he would balk at the ones that needed 10-15 ml. per serving. this one is very concentrated (2-3 ml per serving) and he doesn't seem to notice the taste. will probably stay with this one

Unsure about recent quality consistency. I used many different products from this brand a few years ago. There customer service was excellent. And I also like their hygiene products. This past year though has been questionable. The glucosamine colors are always different. When I contacted evolution pet about it the first time. I was told the product formula had changed. Then I received my next bottle the color of the ‘old product’. Most often it’s a shade of milky orange. And once in a while it is a dark amber. I emailed the company when this happened again. No response. I’ve emailed the company about other topics and have also received no response.

We diagnosed our rooster walking problem as osteomyelitis. It was severe. His leg was bright red. My initial feeling was it was a good rooster, but I can get them free around here. Chickens sometimes die unexpectedly, and I figured it would be easier to put him out of his misery. Then I thought about a possible treatment for him. Part of it was antibiotic therapy, which took care of the infection. I added Life Span to a dish of wild bird seed exclusively for him, although all the chicks are wild about the seed. He stays in the coop to eat and I shut the chickens out. I add several tonics from Pet Wellbeing known to be effective, and add hyaluronic acid powder. He's still not able to walk, probably due to the damage caused by the infection, but he is crowing like a champ, and he's learning how to hop on one foot. If he heals completely, I'll be surprised.

I have 7 rescues and 6 of them are older to very old dogs. Of the 6 it has helped 5 get around much better than before they started taking LifeSpan. The oldest being a Chihuahua at 16 years of age didn't seem to be helped but he does have other issues. No more limping after running around the back yard and the ones who would not climb the stairs to the 2nd floor now climb them even if they are rather slow.
