Satisfaction not with this unit
Personally I am dissatisfied. Explanation goes like this, I purchased this at the end of April and here it is the middle of June and I still cannot get the system to work as efficiently as the last Swann DVR. Problem is I had an eight channel and wanted to add cameras so I purchased the 16 channel and have not been able to get this get the settings to work as my previous unit did. The system is set up on the lowest sensitivity and even if I leave leaves across the driveway camera send me an email. All cameras are set at the very lowest setting and continue to send emails regardless of changing the settings. There is another issue about how this has become so annoying. The system seems to shut down and restart and send emails notifying me that each camera has now gone online. This happens anytime during the day or night. None of these issues happened with my previous DVR and I am thinking about going to a different brand name. I've called Swann but was on hold for too long so I gave that up for a while. I will make one more attempt with some support.

Horrible Product, with horrible Customer Service
This will be the 2nd Swann system in the span of 2 years. This one was purchased in October 2021. By the end of February, it stated no HDD and makes an awful sound. I have contacted support with no returned call or email. All I want is this product either fixed or refunded I will be purchasing a different brand from now on.

1st one came Dead on Arrival, no response from swann
The First 4k 16 channel unit came dead. Swann wouldn't return my calls or emails. I had to return it thru Amazon. Second unit, kind of worked until I had to use the alarm detection. The system had to resboot would freeze, After 4 tries, it was the software. I used the unit without alarm detection for about a year and 3 months. The hard drive started making noise, then the unit would freeze and not turn back on, I just got the Swann screen. Ive had bad luck with both 4k 16 channel units.
