does this unit include the thermister connection? my washer needs it and i see some don't include it.

It is compatible. Go to "Appliancepartspros.com" to verify that. After you put the part # in the search box, scroll down to the Cross reference and model info box. Scroll down there and you'll find your washer #. This unit is under the drum on the right side of the washer. View the replacement video under the picture of the heater on how to remove and reinstall. While you're at it, you might want to replace the washing machine thermistor that goes with it, just in case that's the source of your problem. Good luck.
