Delicious
Delicious, less salty, which is good.Excessive packaging, manufacturer’s carton, then another carton and a third all nested. Big waste of cardboard!

They are fresh and crispy sea salt chips. Which I ordered by mistake. Whoops.
I thought I had ordered salt and vinegar.chips. When I realized my mistake they had been shipped. My bad.

Nice crunch and great flavor
Uglies are beautiful. Great flavor, not salty, the crunch is superb and this is HUGE, the bag is decently full!!! I especially love the add a sample bag of a different flavor to true. Bonus!! One comment though, my box had a big oil spot in the corner and I only pulled one bag, but it was slightly oil slippery. Otherwise love this product and will be buying in quantity again. May sign up for auto ship

Wife's addicted!
They are like kettle chips with that satisfying crunch, and actually have a little less salt than normal chips (at least in this flavor). They taste great. I also recommend the BBQ flavor. Just note, because they are "small batch" they are a little more pricey than national brands, and not always available, but honestly, worth it.

Terrible Aftertaste
Greasy chips with good crunch but awful aftertaste and no flavor. Overly expensive.

What a pleasant surprise! ...
Decided to take a chance on these -- I like the serving size and the price was right. Anyway, I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the flavor of these. They have the strongest "potato" flavor of any chips I've tried in recent years -- really delicious! Not overly salty or greasy, either. Just about perfect! They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I don't find these "ugly" at all -- just perfectly golden brown. These are sliced with the peels on, so I'm sure that adds to the "potato-y" flavor.Overall, I'm a huge fan now, and will purchase again for sure!

Somewhat tasty, but “eh”.
These chips tasted ok, but they were extremely greasy and hard as a rock. The seller was very quick to ship and the shipment was well-packed and I would buy from him / her again. But I wouldn’t buy that product again.

Wicked tasty... but keep the paper towels near
One of Amazon's strongsuits is offering regional products: say, potato chips from Idaho or Maine which have yet to gain national distribution. (Shame the same principle can't carryover to beer.)Understand, I dwell in the California's High Desert region, near Joshua Tree National Park: a food desert as much as the physio type. The only high dollar bodega for miles sells the Torres brand, from Spain, at $8 a bag. Inasmuch, Uglies Kettle Cooked proved far tastier, if a lot less dear pricewise.Uglies' sole drawback is the grease. It tends to mark territory, from shirt to sofa to TV remote.Or perhaps that's where the name originates...
