Zoot Men's Del Mar Running Shoe

Older, discontinued, but solid shoe. Great price. Fast shipping. What's not to like?

I love Zoot Kalani Ultra, but switched to these since I cannot find Ultra in US size 12 any more. I hope Zoot keeps making these Del Mar shoes because they are just as good as Kalani Ultras - with different color choices. Snug, good airflow, moderate heel to toe incline, good cushioning, light weight, stable but not brick solid heel shape, and a good price when on sale. I prefer Del Mar and Asics Nimbus shoes for my neutral heel strike pattern. I wish Del Mar had the lace keeper of Ultras.Most of my experience is half marathons, which I have also worn Asics and New Balance to run (New Balance tore up, Asics Kayano left me with persistent minor injuries). Kalani Ultra felt great running a marathon, though, and I expect these to feel just as good. I have roughly 6 weeks running in them now. Honestly, I don't plan to train in anything other than Zoot or Asics anymore. Del Mars have a much better price point than Asics, though the long term life is shorter.Zoot - please don't discontinue Del Mar without giving us neutral recreational runners something to replace them with!!

I would say this is a good shoe for the price. Fit is as expected but I do find them a bit tight in the toes area, but my experience is that makers go a bit too far in the wide width. For the money I would buy them again.

I don't run anymore......I power walk. I like to wear running shoes for their support. I always buy top end shoes ($120+). I saw that these shoes had a high core score on the RunRepeat website...they were nice looking...and they were on sale dirt cheap. I could not go wrong for the price so I bought a pair. What a pleasant surprise....these are as good a running shoe as I have ever bought. They fit perfectly, look excellent, offer tremendous cushioning and support. I could not be happier.

Great shoe. The heel is a bit chunky, and it has great support/slightly rigid mid-sole with flex, which is helpful for larger runners. It has enough cushion in the front to support a front/mid foot strike. I am 5'9" and 235 lbs. An average workout for me is 3-5 miles at 12 minutes/mile 2-3 times per week. I use this as an outdoor pavement running/jogging shoe. It has reflective elements for added visibility at night. I would buy this again.

Stumbled on these shoes from a review site and had never encountered the brand before but am on the bandwagon. For is just right and my feet are a little wife. I am dealing with plantar fasciitis and my podiatrist gives these a green light for how they are made. Love them and have had no issues running outside or on the treadmill.

The media could not be loaded. These shoes might be old stock because they're peeling apart from the toes back right out of the box. I took a video to show they are brand new with the factory tied laces and absolutely zero wear on the toes or tread. These are my 1st and last pair of Zoot shoes.

I don't find this shoe very comfortable. It's not uncomfortable, but other shoes actually feel good to wear. I would never buy these full price, but if on sale I'd buy them again. I ran 450 miles in them before retiring them.
