DEWALT DWO1DT612 12 in. Chainsaw Replacement Chain

Came OEM on my 12” DeWalt chain saw. I like to have a couple spares to use between sharpenings. This held up longer than I expected when engaged in rail trail clearing. Easy replacement. No issues.

This chain fits great and works great. I only wish they would make a carbide tipped chain in smaller sizes. Also a chain without anti kick back links. Dewalt needs to make this in a chipper chain. Some people actually know how to use chainsaws. I would recommend this chain.

I have used Dewalt chains for my 12" chainsaw cutting hardwoods like oak and black locust. The chains cut cleanly and withstand the use. Great product.

The blade was easy to change out. Cuts great now. We buzzed through some pretty big trees. Excellent value for the price.

I think if you own this particular DeWalt you'll realize a few things pretty quickly.pros- in a pinch it can do the job. even on much large logs than you would expect of it- the 60 volt is much better to have for this than the 20. more time in the field.cons- the feed where the chain goes in and out from the motor has a few issues- the first issue is that it wears very easily (plastic). mine now has a large gouge in it.- the second issue is the chain itself. it's a fantastic little chainsaw, but the chains go dull fast- the first and final issue is it guzzles oil. not really an issue on a short cutting, but be awareOverall, the issues with this chain are limited to how much you are cutting. You'll get a lot don't for what you get out of it. Don't get me wrong. It does the job. One chain will get you through quite a lot, but rather like the bottom of the feed area... you'll notice the wear and tear. Our area has had a blight. So many trees died we've been cutting dead fall for three years straight. This little thing got us through that, but on the other hand... you'll be buying a few.Conclusion 4 out of 5. I haven't never had a chain break with one of these. It does the job. Lasts far longer than you'd expect for such a little saw. It cuts far bigger than you'd imagine it could. Just once in awhile you start to notice how fast you burn through these. Compared to the 16" Dewalt though? Heavenly. Don't buy the 16". I haven't the faintest idea what is wrong with that, but it seems like everything. I would put this then at something like a excellent emergency saw. Supremely excellent, but limited as you get into larger and more protracted projects. Doesn't fail though. Can't say that about a lot of things these days. Treat it well and it will do go and go.

This is my husband's second chain. He uses many Dewalt products. Chain quality and sharpness are great! Good value. Goes on easily.

Once I read what was the direct replacement for my DeWalt 16” bar battery Chainsaw I went on this site found what was needed and the process was fast & easy to navigate and I received my merchandise in short order. The quality is top notch and was as advertised but unwinding it from it’s package is a little time consuming and patience is needed but all else is excellent.

Works excellent. Must have the Dewalt bar on the Dewalt chainsaw. Too bad , but you can’t use an Oregon or Stihl bar and a good chain. The saw cuts great though.

A perfect fit for my 12”bar and cutting was super fast!

They don’t last long barely half hour when cutting small branches and they need sharpening
